Found a long black hair in my food (my hair is blonde so it wasn’t mine) and when I pointed it out to the waiter and asked for a replacement or a refund, I was denied and told I had to pay more if I wanted it replaced. I just found this little place a couple months ago and liked it. Will never be coming back again after the treatment. Horrible people.

I recently moved to the area so I trusted Google to guide me to a place to eat. Being a foodie I was looking forward to experiencing Guatemalan cuisine.
The outside of the establishment was nice, but the inside screams BAR. We were seated immediately since there was only three other people inside. The service was good, our server was patient and provided us with some recommendations. One item on the menu that caught our eye was the avocado coleslaw. In my head I thought avocado tossed in with coleslaw mix. So I wanted to try that. I ended up ordering the Churrasco and substituted out the beans, rice and tortillas (trying to cut carbs) for the avocado coleslaw and onion rings. My dish came out and the avocado coleslaw was just sliced avocado on top of a bowl of coleslaw and the avocado was black. The chef, found it acceptable to send that plate out, the kitchen manager found it acceptable to send my plate out and the server also found it acceptable to send the plate out like that. Highly disappointed, would not return.

Visited this restaurant on the night of my arrival to NC straight from the airport. Happy they served us as it was late on a weeknight and they were closing soon. Food was decent and tacos were very good but the live musician was very loud. The couple who books the music in addition to the manager, were very nice.

Great Guatemalan food. I had the fish tacos ; others in my party tried Guatemalan style Tamales and chicken empanadas. All three were great. Even the side of rice with sauce was very flavorful

A wonderful variety of brunch and lunch menu items, each being delicious, all for a very affordable price. Enjoy several Guatemalan dishes and some of the best pupusas I have ever tried. Plus they source from local farms and markets for fresh ingredients.

I stopped in here for a early dinner at 5:00. The place is clean and has a very cozy feel when I sat down. The owner was very friendly to talk to. I had the Churrasco grilled steak platter and strawberry shortcake. Delicious!! I will come back again.

i had the ribeye tender flavorful string beans had no flavor. mashed potatoes were good. fried cauliflower was lightly breaded hot my first time having it.quacamole was pretty good my late lunch companion doesn’t eat tomatoes we told the waiter so he brought us some without. service was attentive atmosphere is nice.
