On our journey back , we found this amazing Mexican restaurant to make a stop for lunch. Starting with the ambience and setup our experience was good. Our server was polite, caring and helpful. Food was served quickly and everything was great in taste.Kids enjoyed their meal while we loved our food.

We were very disappointed in the food and service today. The taco ground beef meat was cold, and the soft taco shelf was hard to chew. Chilli Rellenos were tasty, but the peppers were very tough. The owner-waiter was pleasant but not attentive. Didn’t ask if we wanted drink refills or how the food was. I saw a while ago they were trying to get more customers in and offered the half off deals. They need to up their game if they want repeat customers. I was hoping to be able to write a real positive review but that was not the experience we had today.

Oh god, the owner- server was verbally abusive.
I went there with my family and a young 10 year old child.
No service at all. He just put the food on table and disappeared. He didn’t ask how was the food or if we needed anything else. He charged us extra for salsa without even letting us know in advance.
He was verbally abusive repeatedly in front of my young child, as he was demanding for tip!
If you want to have a good day, please do not go there…

Me and my boyfriend come here about once a month and every time we love It! we usually get bean dip with chips and that is absolutely delicious and we’ve never had a bad meal! they give Freddy decent portions I would say even a little bit bigger than normal, and the food comes out very fast. The only downside is sometimes the service can be a little slow with the waiters. but the staff is very friendly so it’s worth the wait. Lastly, though keep in mind that the prices are a little high The food is decent for the price though, but for two people it was around $60 but I’ll keep coming here!!

Hair in my food. No service at all. Blandest mexican food ive ever eaten, yall could put more than just a dash of salt in the food. Overly greasy and the grill hasnt been properly cleaned and the chicken was very dry. The rice sat out for hours before being served and was rock hard. Food can NOT get that bad unless its been prepped hours before being served. Mold all over the ice dispenser and the water is a biohazard. Only could palate some of the meal before having to stop for my own health and well being as I began to feal nauseous. If this is visible standards, I can only imagine the condition of how bad the back of house is. Very disappointed and to go out of the way to nickle and dime guests ontop of an already horrendous experience is laughable at best. Idk how yall are even open or cleared by the NY health department. Whomever is the owner, I highly suggest investing in a completely different industry moving forward. 1 star is more generous than is ever deserved. I have audited hundreds of restaurants and this is objectively the worst establishment I have ever been to. I will ensure I never return to this location and only hope it becomes my distant forgotten memory.

This the worst “ Mexican” style restaurant I have ever eaten at. I lived in Texas for 50 years and know what Tex-Mex food should taste like. This the food is old, cold, and bland. These people do not know how to cook good Tex-Mex food. It is over priced the place looks old and dirty. The queso is a joke, watery bland tasteless. The fajitas are awful and dry and bland. A place like this would shut down in about a month in Houston. Ok just just trying to be honest here please don’t waste your money on this place. I have had better Tex- Mex at a fast food drive thru than this place. I am sorry to say most Tex- Mex restaurants in this area really don’t have good food. Just being honest.

Went here on Wednesday around 1, and immediately had a table and ordered drinks. I got the rainbow margarita, which is divided into thirds (strawberry, mango, lime) and is fantastic! To eat, I can’t remember the name of the item, but I requested the meat to be replaced with salmon. The chunks of fish were cooked perfectly and seasoned, as well as the vegetables inside the burrito. Then the while burrito was covered in a queso sauce, and served with seasoned rice. Everything was SO GOOD. TJ got the fried vegetarian chimichangas and they were also amazing. And the best part was that the Margarita was 1/2 off since it’s Wednesday! If you want banger food, EAT HERE!

I recently dined at El Pulpo for my first time and I must say after driving by for the last 2 years I wish I would of stopped before now. I am from the south west and know and enjoy authentic Mexican food. This brought me back to food from home. Excellent food, large menu, and reasonable prices. The service was wonderful, very attentive and knowledgeable. My fiance and I had dinner, and dessert and our bill was under $60. (Take home boxes were needed) Highly recommended for take out or dine in.

Hadn’t been here yet, and glad we stopped in. Cheese enchiladas with rice were really good. My son got tacos with their homemade sauce. Very nice authentic taste…we really enjoyed it. We have had been craving some good Mexican or Spanish food like we used ro get in NC at our old stomping grounds ponchos or LA cocina…and this is the closest we have come here in NY. So many option to choose from! And prices are very very reasonable folks!

This is one of the best and most reasonably priced Mexican restaurants in town. They have a very diverse menu selection of beef, pork, seafood, and chicken as well as multiple vegetarian options. The Children’s Menu also boasts a larger than typical selection for the more picky eaters. The food is always made fresh and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
