Just want to make it clear, this is not a Mexican restaurant. They have limited Mexican food options. This is more of a Central American (Salvador & Honduras) sport bars where they go for beer. I decided to try it because it’s new in the area and I’m a Foodie. Once I arrived I asked if they serve food because it was just men there drinking beers WITH the employees. We were greeted and handed old menus which I was confused because they just opened and the menus seemed like they’ve been ran thru by a lot of people. Once I realized that it wasn’t Mexican, I was very hesitant about staying but then I told myself sometimes these turn out to be the gems. ABSOLUTELY WASN’T! I was curious and just googled it to see and it turned out that they had a different location and moved here. There was no customer service, we were never asked how was the food, did we need anything else, if we wanted to order something else, we had to call the waitress over several times, that’s how attentive she was. We were the only two people there at the moment who ordered food, took 20 minutes and the food wasn’t hot. The Guacamole and chips (didn’t take a picture) was good, the chicharrón pupusa was good, the white rice and fried egg was good. I ordered a Horchata, it was ok, seemed like the powdered one. Everything else was 2/10. The ladies were just attending to the men’s, the music was loud 3pm, and the atmosphere was just plain and boring. Do I recommend, No, would I go back. No.

I ordered 5 of the 2 for $8 pupusa’s, 1 tamal de elote and 1 large pineapple juice online. I received my order 2 hours later! The pupusa’s were very thin but had good flavor. The tamal was very small and it didn’t taste good, it came with a small container of crema but the crema was expired and very watery. The pineapple juice tasted like it had more sugar and water than anything else. Ended up having the worst stomachache, throwing up, having diarrhea and a hugh headache too. This is the first and last time I’ll order from here!!

Maybe this place used to be good. The Horchata tasted like pure sugar and cheap powered chocolate. The tacos were a disappointment as well. And as for the service it would have been appreciated if we were told that a 15% fees automatically get added on our check if we decide to dine in.

Their beef lengua (tongue) tacos are to die for. They are tender and flavorful in every bite! It’s an easy to miss place but most certainly worth it! They also have baleadas which are worth 3x the buck you pay for! So go and try this place out!

A one time only visit.
First, let me state that the food was surprisingly excellent! Truly savory!
Yet what is supposed to be a Salvadoran restaurant really is a Mexican restaurant. The menu says it all!
Second the restaurant is more a facade to a regular “water hole” (or as they call it in Salvadoran dialect: “Un chupadero”)
One can be completely deceived by the looks on the outside. The inside is obviously designed to be used specifically as a “drinking ‘dance’ hall”.
And last, but most important, the expense showed later in the bank avvount with an extra unauthorized – beyond the 15% – imposed on the customer charge (what they call “gratuity”).
It is not a place that I will bring my business to, a second time.

Great Service, great food, good vibe, and the waitress so nice!!! I think her name was Fani !! Awesome girl !! We have been twice and this is one of the best Salvadoran food we’ve eaten. Very presentable and delicious.

This place is absolutely garbage and they are accomplices to a scam where there’s women who hang around and ask people dining in to buy them a small coronita which is half the size of a regular 12 ox beer and they charge you $10 each which I’m sure they split with said woman. Do not. DO NOT go here. They are a complete scam 100%

Foods good but def check your receipt cause they’ll rip you off they charge me a different price every time I go and I order the same food every time. Today they’re claiming it’s tips and taxes when Again I order the same thing every time and I don’t even dine in it’s TO GO but somehow that’s why they charged me $10 extra today compared to yesterday ridiculous
