Ordered pickup for my lunch. It was very yummy and good portion. Looking forward to trying other menu items. I went with the bean pupusa (la de frijol) since I know those are really good.

I love Kissimmee Florida – the actual home of Disney world + lots of Latinos and non alike. (Aka lots of great food and blend of different cultures)
This place is a true Hidden gem and should be considered when you are hungry and in the mood to try something a little different. Authentic and humble are two things I love paired together. Fortunately, I can also include affordable. I would highly recommend this place- and once you try it out yourself spread the word 😉

Good sized pupusas, hot and tasty!
We ordered tamales, chicken tacos and plantain as well.

They were accommodating in making a cheese free pupusa for someone in my party who can’t consume dairy.

Food is good. But they take a while to cook it. Customer service needs improvement.

El Pulgarcito Grill & Bar – A Taste of El Salvador’s Heart
In the heart of this humble gem, you’ll find more than just a meal — you’ll find El Salvador itself. The warmth of the people, the depth of the flavors, the aroma of tradition dancing through the air — it all comes together in this cozy, beautiful space called El Pulgarcito Grill & Bar.

Every pupusa is a love letter to the homeland. Every plate tells a story — of firewood kitchens, of abuelitas stirring with care, of laughter shared over hearty meals. The food is nothing short of exquisite: rich, soulful, and unforgettable. And the service? Like coming home after a long journey — welcoming, kind, and attentive in a way only true hospitality can offer.

This is not just a restaurant — it’s a cultural embrace. A reminder that the best places are often the ones built on pride, tradition, and the simple joy of feeding others well.

Un rincón sin igual. I’ll be back again and again.

I’ve been coming here for about three years now. Nothing like this has happened. I ordered pupusas last night as usual. 3 chicharrón, 2 queso, 1 molido. Not only was there was 1, not even 2 but 3 HAIRS in my food. 1 got me a little upset. But I loved past it. Then my sister got the second and THIRD one. We didn’t even finish our food. It was absolutely horrid. The one was livable. But having three was unacceptable.
