Excellent freshly made tortillas with creative original food choices make for superb tacos with friendly, quick service. I loved the nopal ans black bean taco. Their charro black beans are great and the other offerings are equally good. Will go back soon!

We came in to try out this place after passing by several times. We had high expectations but were disappointed. Ordered the brisket and pastor tacos. The meat was bland and lacking seasoning and was almost cold. Also ordered the mahi taco this was a step above the other tacos in flavor but nothing to recommend. My wife tried the cilantro lime chicken bowl. There was nothing that jumped out at you in flavors.
Service was pretty good and our server took good care of us.
We did not have any alcoholic drinks. In retrospect to other reviews maybe we should have to change the flavor profile.

8/28/21, came for lunch after several times of passing by and being curious. Looked delicious on Facebook. Ordered 4 tacos for myself to try out different menu items. Barbacoa de Brisket was the one with the least flavor. Looked delicious but was lacking in flavor and needed salt. Ribeye y Longaniza was was ok. Was expecting ribeye and sausage taco but instead came with a piece of pork that tasted like pastor, no sausage in this taco. Cilantro Lime Chicken taco was a pleasant surprise. Juicy, flavorful, tender chicken. Nicely seasoned, and would recommend a squeeze of lime for extra flavor. The skirt taco was the best of the 4. Perfectly seasoned, tender and moist. Again, with a squeeze of lime and salsa the taco was even better. The corn tortillas were awesome and the black charro beans were delicious. The quality of the food is obvious and ingredients are fresh. Dissapointed when I ordered a diet coke from the fountain and charged $2.50 for each refill! Will visit again in the future to try something else from the menu.

We were there for my wife’s birthday on 07/05. I got to say this place did not disappoint us at all. Food was excellent bar drinks perfect & service was also great. Now this is Laredo so if you are looking for a $2 taco then strips is the place for you. In the other hand if you want a great taco with a twist. Then this is the place for you. You will pay for it, but the quality & taste are well worth it.

Loved the cool atmosphere and ambiance. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our table. The tacos were amazing. I tried the pastor and shrimp originales tacos with cilantro rice and my taste buds were blown away. Great food and great prices! Thank you El Puesto for a wonderful evening.
