I’ve been stopping by this awesome restaurant the last 3 years after Wakaan Festival for my first solid meal after a long weekend of partying. The food is always good, cheap, and fast. Every time we go, my group has been around 7-15 people and we’ve always been seated immediately. The servers are always friendly and get the orders right even with a multiple large groups(us and the sunday church crowd.☺️) Because we just came from a 3 day camping rave festival, most of us don’t look like your typical Ozark resident. However, they always treat us with kindness and no judgement. Did I mention the margs are so good and SO CHEAP. This is what I look forward to after leaving Mulberry Mountain every year. Thank you to the staff of El Puerto for always taking care of us and doing a fantastic job. Much love from the Wakaan Family. Mucho gracias!

Fast, attentive staff without hovering or ignoring us, reasonable prices, plentiful portions. Seating was comfortable and roomy, the Spanish music was maybe a TAD loud but not disruptivly so and we were able to have a conversation across the table without yelling.

Excellent service! Clean, relaxing restaurant with great menu selection. Husband’s combo platter was super. Street tacos were delicious. Queso Blanco and Guacamole were fresh. New favorite in Ozark!

Won’t take reservations for 20 people on a Sunday or any day apparently. But say we should be ok because they don’t get much of a church crowd. Told them we would be there and got a snarky answer “ok but we won’t hold a table unless someone is here”.
Ma’am I was just trying to give you a heads up that we would have a large party. Thought you would like to know since you aren’t even used to a big church crowd… Hopefully the food is good

This is the second time in a row we have ordered the carnitas and they absolutely taste horrible. I dont know what happened because they used to be delicious but thet are so bad cant even eat them. So very disappointed. All I did was throw my money away

Our large family visited El Puerto in Ozark, AR after a glorious homegoing service for our beloved family member. It was the perfect place to gather. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the staff so kind and attentive. We felt welcomed and cared for, and it made our time together with our AR family even more special. Went there for a frozen margarita but their machine was busted. Service was remarkably slow, but, to be fair, they were busy. Food was bland; even the chips and salsa were bad.
They said there would be a $1 upcharge on my meal when I ordered but then they charged $3. Then they charged a “service” fee and then they charged a card transaction fee. Not even considering tax, 25% of the cost of the meal was fees.

Waiter didnt keep drink filled. I only needed one refill and my glass sat empty for a while. I ordered a brisket burrito and I got a tiny pork burrito.
They did change it out for me though but it took quite a while before my waiter decided to come check on us even though he walked by multiple times.
Salsa was watery. Got a rice, chicken and cheese on 2nd go around and they barely put any cheese sauce on the food. Also portion size was on the small side.
Ive eating alot of Mexican places and this is by far the worst ive had in a while. Would not go back.
