Stopped by here for dinner and had a great time. We were seated right away and ordered drinks. The food came out super fast and hot from the kitchen. The service was friendly and they spoke both English and Spanish. The atmosphere is welcoming and festive. It’s a unique experience you can’t find anywhere else in the city!

I’m very picky about my dining out experience, I like things near perfect if not perfect, because I’m paying for the service and food… Truthfully El Puerto De San blas is the best restaurant in Fort Wayne. The service is amazing, the food is delicious I can say that truthfully… The food isn’t full of salt but it’s full of flavor… They are the perfect example of what dining out should be, they understand their customers they know why you are there… They restored my faith in dining out again… Thank you Cristian is the best waiter we have had since moving to Fort Wayne thanks for great service!!!

This is a gem of a restaurant that we had never tried before even though we love Mexican food. The focus is on seafood, so the menu options are quite different from your typical tacos, burritos, etc. (Although they do have a few things along those lines). But you should go for the fish and seafood! We started off with what looked like the standard chips and salsa, but it came with a small ceviche which was great. For entrees I tried the chicharrones de pescado (small pieces of deep fried fish) which were crispy and flavorful. My husband ordered the pescado sarandeado (another fried fish dish) which was also wonderful. Both came with tortillas and frijoles. Instead of the usual margarita variations, they offer different types of micheladas (beer with different flavorings like lime juice and hot sauce). I loved my “petroleo” michelada, but my husband went for the guanabana lemonade which he loved. We will definitely be going back soon to try the ceviche – they have several kinds. Branch out and give this place a shot!

First time visiting… the only way I’m not coming back is if the good Lord calls me home first! My wife and I went and both enjoyed it so much. When they started off by bringing chips and 3 different sauces… I knew we were in for a stellar experience!

Very Friendly People. Helped decipher menu, after inquiring if it was my 1st time. Disappointed that menu has nothing under 15 with seafood. Even though it was quite obvious to me that the seafood was cheap and Here in Indiana flash frozen maybe but definitely not fresh.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, this is the place!! There was a live DJ this evening. So many options to choose from. The staff was outstanding with explaining the menu. Cleaning friendly is always a plus.

Great food and great service. My only complaint is that my mango margarita wasn’t that great. It tasted like Jumex so I wouldn’t recommend that flavor. Maybe a different flavor would be better. I am so glad there is a place like this in Fort Wayne now. I love seafood and Mexican food and this is the best of both worlds!

THEEEEEE ABSOLUTE BEST! Service was amazing, food was perfect, plentiful, and DELICIOUS. FRESH. FRESH. FRESH! It takes a bit from order to table, so don’t be in a hurry. The empanadas were delightful, and dessert, oh! Yes!

Fantastic food and service. Very authentic and clean tastes. The plates are large and cheap. The plate in the picture was $15.99, with Texas toast. They give you chips with a thin green sauce and a chunky “salsa,” but it is so much better than any I’ve had. It has bits of shrimp and seafood in it. It is a definite must try, I will be back to try the mocajettas they look awesome.
