First time here and enjoyed the food. I don’t eat pork and was told the refried beans made with pork and they offered me black beans. I do not like black beans and asked for their Mexican potatoes. She said that was not an option. So I ended with 2 sides of rice. I am usually not a fan of rice but surprisingly this was very good rice!!

Not sure what happened but I came back and was quite disappointed. The drinks were still very good though. Service was wonderful, so I hate writting this. My fajitas had zero flavor, the shrimp was not cleaned.
The enchiladas de mole, had way too much chocolate flavor to them.
Sadly I will not be returning.

Long-standing favorite for hearty meal of “comfort food” and great service. Servers have always been attentive, friendly, and helpful in our experience. Julissa really gave us smiles today with her can-do attitude, even when busy during the lunch rush.

My husband orders the two-enchilada dinner with rice and beans. I order the grilled cheese (it comes with American cheese) and fries. Chips are fresh and salsas are always yummy. Portions are really generous, served on large oval plates.

We appreciate that they charge a lower rate if you pay cash, since I’m sure those processing fees for credit cards add up for a small local business. Doing what they can to keep prices fair and reasonable for everyone!

Wow, I just cannot believe how downhill this place went. When they were in West Chicago the food in the Margaritas would knock your socks off, then they moved to St Charles and they were okay for a while but over the years the food got skimpy and losing flavor and the Margaritas cost so much money after drinking two of them which cost $30 I didn’t even feel it! I don’t think we will ever go back, a big rip-off, no wonder no one was there on a Saturday night

I am so excited to have found this gem of a restaurant!! I moved in town a year ago and tried about every Mexican restaurant in St. Charles and Geneva. I finally landed on this one and absolutely loved everything about it! Chips and salsa , chicken fajitas happen to be the best fajitas I have ever had. I don’t know how or what they are marinating it in, but it is so outstanding. It has a spicy sweet type of seasoning and then there’s a Keylime pie. Are you kidding me, wow really outstanding and the services noted.. warm authentic family owned wonderful restaurant. Check it out.! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s

I got the puente enchiladas and they were really good. My friend got steak and it was ok. We also got ceviche and guacamole for the appetizers and they were good. Salsas were ok and we got two palomas which were delicious. Our waitresses was really polite and friendly and we liked the decor. It was not busy when we went which is a plus for us.

Food has no flavor. I ordered the 2 piece combo. Steak taco, chicken enchilada, rice and beans. I had to add alot of salt and pepper.

The service was amazing unfortunately food just isn’t good.

I’d been to this restaurant multiple times. Everytime I get half stale chips and flat soda. Perhaps they need to upgrade their machines. The margaritas, rice and beans are good, but other than that the food is O.K for the price you pay. The chimangas don’t have the red sausage and cheese that goes on top which was disappointing. The cheese enchiladas are good, and the carne asada was not bad. You get a red spicy salsa and a non spicy. The none spicy taste like tomato sauce. Would probably not come back or recommend unless they make a drastic change.
