When you walk into El Puente Mexican Grill you get greeted like a long lost cousin. The customer service here was amazing. They are very friendly and polite and always making sure you are filled on your drinks. The inside was nice and clean. I got the taco plate with steak, I was kinda disappointed it tasted bland to me almost like it had no seasoning 3/5 but other than that I really had no other issues. The chips came out hot and fresh. The cheese dip and sauces were really good. I’m going to give this place another try and order something different.

Stayed in the area on the way down to OBX. This place was 5 mins from the hotel so decided to give it a try. It was great! Chips and white/red salsa were so of the best I ever had. The dinner positions were huge, delicious and fair priced. Definitely will be coming back.

Highly recommend El Puente for great food, tasty margaritas, laid back atmosphere and amazing service! We had Elsy as our server. She was polite, attentive and knowledgeable. The meals came out quickly and both the seafood chimichanga and the enchiladas were hot and delicious.

The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The food is great. They keep the drink cups filled and the chip basket full. The atmosphere of the building makes you feel as though you are in a cantina.
There is a sunny bar area. The seating is a combination of booths, tables and seats at the bar. There is also large screen televisions.
The main dining area has a good amount of seating. However, the seating is limited for large parties. There is also an outside eating area.
They have an extensive menu with lunch options and kid’s options also. The kid’s portions are large…no skimping for your money! They have delicious salsa and the white sauce is yummy.
The prices are good also. Try them for yummy authentic Mexican food….good value, great food and service

It is truly a family friendly restaurant that makes you feel welcomed and provides expeditiously fast service. The managers walks around to each table to ensure the food is up-to-par. The drinks are is amazing, the food is fresh and authentic. Definitely this best experience since leaving Texas.

Great classic Mexican restaurant, with amazing food and great prices. Recently updated menus and prices, even with the increase in prices, it is still worth it. Service is always fast and accommodating, and food is always good, although it can be salty from time to time. If you are in the area and looking to try out a new spot, I highly recommend.
