I went here to introduce my friend to Colombian food and we were both very impressed. Delicious and freshly made empanadas. Our bandeja dish was very filling. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and the space was small and intimate with nice decorations. I am absolutely coming back here if I crave Colombian food in Bridgeport.

Today we visited El Pueblito to celebrate my 28th Birthday. We have been coming to El Pueblito for years for their fantastic Columbian food.

This spot offers Colombian food. The menu items are tasty. Love dishes that come with rice and beans. Lunch specials are reasonably priced. The best one is the oxtail stew. Definitely worth trying. Tried their flan and it wasn’t all that good.

The food is amazing and authentic, but the service is so slow. Every time we go it takes forever to order and once you order it takes forever to get your food. I really have a tough time with the service, but I venture back for a good meal. I hope things improve on the service side!

Just enjoyed a fabulous dinner here. My first time, came with a friend who comes often. Enjoyed my cheese empanada, and for my dinner had the grilled pork with rice and beans. The pork was excellent and the portion so big – I got three pork chops and took 2 home. Highly recommend and glad that downtown has such a great spot. Friendly, fast service as well.

The service has gone down in recent years. Once you finally get your food, it comes out in pieces. The food with the meats, 10 minutes later, your rice and bean’s, which defeats the purpose of your whole meal experience. You’ll die of thirst and wait a long time to get your check. Not impressed lately.

I am sitting in here right now and couldn’t wait to review this place because….its my new favorite restaurant. It’s family run and everything is made fresh. You might wait a little bit for it and it’s worth it. So delicious. The maduros/ plantains are awesome. I got the breaded pork loin, rice, beans but my absolute favorite was the home made hot sauce/ chili sauce. So amazing. Spicy with a sweet taste. Don’t miss out on this spot if in the area.

Food was excellent. We had the sancocho de gallina (hen soup) and also the beef chaufa rice. Empanadas were a great appetizer choice. Rodrigo was our server who was excellent.

It had been a long time since we visited this place but like last time it didn’t disappoint. There was probably more food than anybody could eat, but plenty was accompanied by delicious! We went there on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of people there already. The service was a little slow and I think it was due to the types of food that we ordered (some dishes are a lot more elaborate than others). If you love tradicional latin-americas food, this is the place for you. The “Bandejas” are a true Smörgåsbord of food. It might be a little on the pricey side for a large family but a great place to take your significant other.

We having been going to el pueblito for years and decided to stop by today for breakfast which we haven’t tried before and it was great! We had the Catlendo plate comes with scrambled eggs, rice and beans, plantains, grilled steak and an arepa. Everything was super fresh and portion was huge. My son had the kids plate of grilled chicken with rice and beans and he enjoyed it too. Space is limited now due to Covid but the service was pretty fast and the metered parking was free today which makes it an even better day
