First, We had El Primo door dashed. I had the pork Enchilads plate. Fantastic! Most importantly to me, the beans! These are cooked to perfection. I opted for a side order of flour tortillas. What a treat! These were just like my grandma’s! Everything was delicious!
Then, a few days later, my last day in town we opted to dine in.
I am a freak for Taquitos! They have the most delicious beef Taquitos! The plate is huge with rice and beans. My friend ordered the chicken tortilla soup. Huge portion, looked and smelled delicious!
Service is top notch too! My only regret was not going in sooner and more often!!!

Been here twice now for food once just for drinks. Really awesome food and staff. Everything is spotless and in excellent shape. First time I had the shrimp burrito it was amazing. This trip tacos el carbon very generously stuffed tacos great flavor!!!

Our recent visit to El Primo Restaurant was a very enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the quality of the service. We came in as a very large party of ten, which can often present challenges for both staff and guests, but the team at El Primo handled it with professionalism and warmth. The servers were consistently attentive, checking in on us frequently, refilling drinks, and making sure every single person at the table felt taken care of.
The food itself was also a standout. The portions were extraordinarily large, far exceeding what I’ve come to expect at other Mexican restaurants. Not only were the servings generous, but the quality of the dishes was excellent. Everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
Between the attentive service, the impressive portion sizes, and the very good food, El Primo provided a memorable experience for our entire group. We left satisfied, happy, and looking forward to coming back.

The Best Mexican Food In McMinnville. The blended margaritas are the best ratio of ice to liquid, and the flavor is so good that we have endlessly tried to replicate it at home. LOCAL TIP: The margaritas have gotten weaker in recent years, so some people order with an extra shot of tequila. Ample parking, but sometimes it fills up because the place is so popular; there’s still parking nearby on the street right behind. Be sure to go on Thursdays through the weekend, when abuela flips, flops, and presses handmade tortillas right before your very eyes, just inside the front door.

$4 small cups of soft drink. Black specks in two of our waters, as mentioned in other reviews. Our party of 6 waited 45 minutes to get our food after ordering, and all of the plates were cold to the touch (despite the waitress using oven mitts and telling us to be careful) with the food even colder. They took away one of our kids’ dishes to “remake” it but it was clearly the same food, with a light microwaving. All of this with two thirds of the restaurant empty. I am excited to try other local options.

Wonderful Mexican food. Kind and efficient staff. The wait for food on a Sunday night seemed a little long, but it was worth the wait! They kept the salsa and chips flowing until our food arrived, topped off drinks, and gave is a little sopaipilla with ice cream at no charge.
The restaurant was busy and that’s a good thing!

Nice portions I had to take some home for later. Not very good customer service. Food quality was pretty good. Steak was not over cooked or dry so bonus points in that. The chip with whipped cream was cool I wasn’t expecting a dollup of Ice cream on it too. Nice touch. Bathroom was a closet seemed tiny. Flour tortilla smaller then what I am used to but they make them there so bonus points on that. I counted 5 lightbulbs out and the window seals hadn’t been wiped down in awhile…maybe a week of dust. No background music except for a family that was sitting across from me they all were watching tik tok videos on their cell phones while eating which was a bit annoying. I’d like to come back and try the huevos rancheros next.

Amazing food, fast service and very clean place. The wait staff made sure our waters were filled at all times. The fajitas was Delicious and not at all water like fajitas can get. Very reasonable prices!
