Terrible service, the lazy guy that works the phone is too lazy to place orders and answer the phone. Then I ordered shrimp and chicken fajitas, the shrimp wasn’t done and the portion was ridiculous for $29.00. Now, I see why there was only 4 people eating there! Will never eat there again.

One of the best Mexican dining experiences I have had. The server was very attentive, super friendly and great with the kids. He made sure that their food came out right away so they didn’t lose their cool while we waited for the adult meals to come out.

Our server Martin, was excellent. He was quick and attentive. He also took great photos of us. We were from out of town and visit VA Beach every year. Every year we visit, I alway make sure to eat here at least once during my stay. Food comes in large portions and is delicious.

Absolutely hands down the best experience, food, and drink. Staff was very friendly, and welcoming. Would have to say they have the largest tequila selection in the area. Tried something new (Tortas)and it was amazing. Highly suggest trying this hidden gem out!!!

This same restaurant was previously San Jose and I was sad to see it changed. But this was my third time at El Potrillo and the food was great and the service was excellent. They also have a fresh tomatillo salsa that packs a punch and lots of flavor.
