Myself and Dad had dinner here, I had the Colorado burrito with ground beef and my Dad the pork carnitas. ( or something like that )
Both were large servings mine was good, good flavor. Didn’t think I would be able to finish it but I powered through it, to good to waste.
My Dad said his was also good and had good flavor. His only critic was he found the pork a bit dry but this could have been due to the hot plate, he said the plate was very hot.
The menu stated that additional baskets of chips were a dollar, not sure I have ever seen that but one basket was enough for us.
So nice place, colorful, clean, good food, employees were nice.

Wifes food was great my carni asada was to grossly and could not eat 1/2 of it. Great service and I’m sure the waitress would of fixed the meal if I had said something, but I just didn’t feel like it. The Pina colada was STRONG and soo good.

Firstly the location was a good location and the entrees of the meal were delicious. That is 2 stars for that. The appetizers were disappointing to say the least. The tamale was 5 dollars for a smedium and the masa wasnt even cooked. The other was the carne asada fries and the meat was tough and filled with fat and burnt gristle. The 4 drinks I had were the house margaritas which were strawberry and mango and at most had 2 shots of alchohol combinded. Lastly the service was horrid so bad that we were there for well over and hour and 15 minutes and had to flag down our waiter for a simple pickup or even ask for the margaritas 20 minutes after ordering them. I review plenty of places and this is one of those I reccomend to stay out of. Also they automatically charge you 15% for a tip on your bill as it is no longer an option and why I believe there service to be so horribe.

Went for lunch after my doctor’s appointment at the VA clinic across the street. Arrived around 1:30 after the lunch crowd had left. Had the house Margaretta it was actually good. Had the ok lunch special which was 3 fresh Taco’s refried beans and rice. Didn’t take long for my order to arrive and was still steaming hot and good tasting. While waiting for my food was served fresh home made chips and salsa also good. Highly recommend this little place and prices are very reasonable

We just ate the best street chicken tacos & carne asada beans & rice plate at El Portillo Mexican Restaurant off Hualapai Mtn Rd. They make everything fresh to order & the warm tortilla chips & guacamole & pastries are amazing too ! Wow we will definitely be back ! We went through the drive thru & they have amazing service as well. Thank you ! Thank you for coming to our neighborhood.

It was Cinco De Mayo, so it was extra busy but the hospitality was pretty good. I ordered the Camarones zuisos or something like that, YUM! I will order that again. Also had the Pina Colada while we waited. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. Over all, even though it was busy and they didn’t have much staff, they still made it happen and made sure the customers are checked on from time to time during our stay.
