Out of all the places I’ve been so far this place has some pretty good tacos and not just your pick of a few types like chicken, carne asada and shredded pork. Portion sizes are good, the rice and beans are great and not hard nor watery respectively. Assortment of drinks are nice. Salsas are nice too, be sure to mix in the ones you use for tacos for more flavor. Staff are very friendly (does not mean they are hitting on you). A few other places around here messed up my order and didn not fix it, food was not too great and I had to pay a lot more for it too so this place is pretty good.

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant that I’ve ever eaten at in the south! I would recommend this to everyone that lives in or near Biloxi and people coming into town. I used to live in New Mexico and this is about as close as you can get to authentic, yummy food. They give very big portion sizes, serve you quickly and have a great environment. The only thing is limited seating other than that the people are kind. The food is delicious and AFFORDABLE! 10 out of 10 recommend! I go in there all the time!!!!

This is my go-to place for tacos! The service is always great, the tacos are phenomenal, and their prices are very fair! On Wednesdays, they have a 4 tacos for $10 special which you absolutely cannot beat. I highly recommend you try it!

Hidden gem in Biloxi.
Came here with a group of six and every single dish was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Nothing flashy, just genuinely excellent Mexican food. Portions were generous, service was warm, and the food quality was consistent across the table. If you’re in Biloxi and want a place that actually delivers, don’t miss El Portillo.

Pretty decent Mexican restaurant. They do give you a lot for the price. Only issue was the food wasn’t very flavorful compared to other restaurants around. The atmosphere was definitely nice although they were blasting the music a bit too loud. Good service as well!

Recently moved to the area and wanted to try some authentic street tacos! We were acknowledged when we came in by the amazing waitress/ cashier. The food came out in good time and I could tell the tacos were dressed as we ordered. AMAZING Tacos and kid friendly options. Will be back.
