Great food, atmosphere, and service.
The Serrano green sauce was spectacular. Perfect texture and flavor, and the chips were too good.
The fajita torta I ordered was bigger than I could finish, and it was delicious!
Thank you Olga!

A true Galena Park gem that’s been around since 1970! The cheese enchiladas and tacos are as authentic as it gets — you can tell every dish is made with care and family recipes that haven’t changed in decades. Great portions for the price and the hot sauce is unlike anything else.

Restaurant Review: A Warm Spot for Tex Mex Lovers, but Not My Taste
If you’re a fan of Tex Mex, you might enjoy this cozy little spot. The atmosphere is inviting, with warm hospitality from the lady who runs the place, making you feel right at home. The walls are decorated with nice photos that add to the charm.
However, as someone who isn’t a fan of overly Americanized Mexican food, I found the food lacking. I ordered a plate of nachos, and my friend had tacos, but neither dish impressed me. It felt more catered to those who enjoy the Tex Mex fusion rather than traditional flavors.
If you love Tex Mex, this place may hit the mark for you. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t my taste.

This place has been around forever! The first time I ate here was the mid 70s. They’ve been through a few different owners, but it’s about the same as it ever was. I think they need to go up on their prices. I don’t know how they’re paying their bills with such cheap prices. I don’t live in the area anymore so it was a drive to go over there.no regrets. Local people should support one of the few restaurants they have in town.

This is the perfect hole in the wall restaurant. I’ve been eating here for nearly 30years. Family run. Best Guacamole anywhere. Best enchildas in Houston. The hot sauce means it! Perfect spice level. I put it on everything and endure my heart burn happily.

Absolutely love the food. I have been coming here since I was a little girl. It was our go to place. However, the waitress has very poor customer service. We have gone different days and times thinking it was that but NOPE. What makes it worse is that she is related to the owners so you would think she would be kind and would take care of their customers. Sadly I’ve heard their business has gone down a lot and that just might be why. Do I keep going? Yes, I do but not as often because of her.
