Authentic Mexican food place with amazing service and food.
In town on business and had a couple of hours mid morning and stumbled on this place and glad I did. I ordered a breakfast plate a long with a asada huaraches and wow. The flavors in all of the food was fantastic and the service was amazing.
The place was full at 10:30 am on a Tuesday morning for good reason. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

While visiting in OKC for the Fiesta De Las Americans, I stopped in for a quick bite of some authentic Mexican food. I found the perfect place!
Upon sitting down, I was greeted with chips and two kinds of salsa. That’s always a beautiful start! The thin and crispy tortillas chips were warm, and both salsas (although completely different from each other) were spicy and had deep flavor! I ordered a few tacos to try and found the pollo and asada were my two favorites! Both were so juicy and tender, sitting on top of fresh homemade corn tortillas. I always order beans, as a GREAT Mexican restaurant will ALWAYS have homemade refried beans.
I wasn’t disappointed and found myself licking my fingers and enjoying every bite I took!
The service, although busy, didn’t skip a beat! The food came out fast, hot and delicious! We were never in need of anything as our waiter was prompt and attentive!
Afterward, just pay for your meal at the desk on the way out and write down “El Potosino” as your go-to for authentic and delicious Mexican food!

If you want authentic Mexican food this place is the real deal. To start they bring chips and salsa and by the taste you can tell all are made in-house. Salsas are spicy with really good flavor. If your not into spicy hot salsa you may want to go easy, for me it was excellent. Ordered tea and the barbacoa plate. It came on a huge plate piping hot. Included were rice and beans, cilantro, chopped onions, a lime, and tortillas of choice. Everything was super good and very filling. Waitress was prompt, helpful, and courteous. Inside the place was simple but nice. They definitely speak Spanish here and English.

If you only speak English..don’t expect great service. Dined in. First visit. Can’t spell much less tell you name of item I tried…but on menu..it is top right & starts with an H! It was a large corn tortilla with (sparse) refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, choice of meat (I chose chicken), few slices of avocado & sour cream drizzle. Salsa was too spicy for me & was removed from table before I took a pic. Meal itself was tasty ..service hit & miss. No black beans/charro beans as an option..which is what I prefer.. Won’t visit again..but..I tried it & now I know to avoid! (Only because of personal preferences).

We came on a Saturday morning, and there was a 15 minute wait. This place is busy, and to me, that’s a good indicator of the quality of their food. The hospitality was wonderful, the food was excellent (Huaraches and Huevos al Gusto are what we had) and they had Atole! Wonderful place!

Highly recommended!

There was a wait list when we first arrived but it took less than 15 minutes. We got to sit where we wanted to. They were quick to greet us and asked us for our drinks. What we ordered was reasonably priced for the amount of food we got. It is authentic and fresh. We ordered the torta de pastor, entomatadas and enchiladas potosinas. We also ordered aguas frescas de Mango and Limonada. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious.

Take one bite and you’ll understand why this place is always busy. On the recommendation of a coworker, I brought my family here for lunch today. There was a short wait and we were seated. The staff got our order quickly and you would not believe how FAST the food was prepared. I look forward to going back again!
