We sat out on the terrace in the warm sunlight. Our server was friendly and helpful. I got a quesadilla with grilled shrimp. We also enjoyed tacos and burritos. We loved the flavors and portions. I look forward to visiting again.

This is a review primarily for the service and ambiance- food was fine for a generic Mexican place and drinks were good.
We held a friend’s birthday dinner here and our server Juanmar went above and beyond- they added chairs and tables when we had some unexpected guests, the service was fast and complete, and the drinks were flowing.
We brought our own birthday cake and they kept it on the fridge for us and then lit candles and brought it out at the perfect time.
Would recommend for any group birthday dinner. Amazing friendly staff, quick service and fun vibes.

The food here is really good! Seasoned well with great portions. The atmosphere is wonderful. We say outside on the patio on a beautiful day, and it was so relaxing and chill. They have really great drinks as well. Especially if you like a nice, stiff, busy tasty drink. The service is decent. Free parking and conveniently located on Ponce in Midtown. I have visited twice and I would definitely visit again.

I had a great experience at El Ponce during their event last night. There was a small issue with the sound volume during the Bad Bunny halftime show, but honestly, even with that inconvenience, the show could still be watched and enjoyed. These things happen sometimes, and it definitely didn’t ruin the night at all.
Everything else was excellent. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the overall atmosphere was super fun and welcoming. The DJ did a great job, the music was on point, and the vibe was just really good all around. The staff and servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable night, and I would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

This was one of those places that I’d always pass by riding the Marta, and I thought it looked cute. For the food and service, however, I’m so glad I stopped by. I don’t know of any other place in the city that does the simple cilantro-and-onion style taco with (non-fried) fish and shrimp, but they do here, and it’s just what I’ve been missing. Pricing is so generous; plus you get the classic complementary chips and salsa (like any proper place should )! The service was also lovely—the waiter sat down and offered his recommendations at one point, and I don’t know that I’ve ever had that happen at any other place. Shoutout also to the really sweet food runners! Definitely coming back whenever I get the chance! ❤️

We had the most wonderful wedding rehearsal dinner at El Ponce a few weeks ago. Roberto went above and beyond our expectations — he ensured the space was beautifully decorated and that each and every one of our more than 70 guests’ needs were accommodated. The staff could not have been kinder and more attentive, and the food was beautifully displayed and out of this world (incredible charcuterie that included Mexican corn, fruit, and chips; fabulous drinks; delicious taco and tostada bar; and churros and Tres Leches cake that numerous guests commented was the best they’d ever had). We would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend El Ponce for special events!!!!!!

I love the service, everyone is very friendly and drinks are great.. Best margaritas I have ever had.. one of them serves saw we didn’t have water and he brought us some without asking.. that’s the kind of service that makes a place unique..! Shout out to Roberto he’s the best..!
