First time having this food. They add cumin to their chicken, which was interesting taste. Their rice is tasteless so do not get it. Frys are perfect and beans were good.

First time having peruen chicken
They use a spice, I don’t like that much but still it was good. I really recommend steak Fries and the beans. I do not recommend coleslaw or rice.

This Peruvian chicken place is conveniently located right off route 50. The place is pretty clean relative to other Peruvian chicken places. The bathroom is clean. The chicken is really juicy and tender. The spice rub that they use on it is a little bit different than other places. The yucca fries are very good unlike other places because it is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and not dried out. The rice and beans are just okay. The sweet fried plantains are just cooked perfectly browned and soft with caramelization from the plantains that makes them taste delicious. They also have dessert here, They have the Firenze gelato, rum cake, tres leches, flan, alfajores cookie. We love the fact that they have the gelato which also has vegan options. The gelato is very good here.

This is our family to go place for chicken. Only when we travel out of town do we realize how much we miss this place. Always fresh, juicy chicken full of flavor. One of our kids is a picky eater and he approves this place and it’s the ultimate endorsement.

El Pollo Rico is hands down our go-to spot for Peruvian chicken. The chicken is always juicy with perfectly cooked, flavorful skin that keeps us coming back.
The steak fries are consistently crispy and fresh, and the beans are absolutely amazing.
Don’t forget the yellow and green sauces, they’re the best you’ll find anywhere and take the meal to the next level.
Growing up in Arlington, I’ve loved El Pollo Rico for years, and I’m thrilled they’ve made their way to Fairfax. This place is a must-eat for anyone craving delicious Peruvian chicken!

In my visit, the price of the chicken was very high for the TINY portion that they gave. All their fries were soggy. The chicken tasted nice however it was difficult to distinguish between Breast and leg. See pictures. The bathrooms had poop on the floor and all the toilet seats.

Id say in the top 2 of the peruvian style chicken places in VA. We stopped (2 hr travel) almost at closing time after the xmas light show. Genuinely delighted to serve the many customers in the wave. Very flavorful everything. Will come back again and again.

No frills Peruvian chicken joint that keeps you coming back because the chicken is just so juicy and flavorful. Large seating area. No wait for food if your are just running in to grab dinner to take home.

Offputting attitude from both the employees, not friendly and they deliberately gave me the oldest/driest plantains in the container. Extremely dry chicken. The tres leches is the worst I’ve ever had, the cake itself is literally dry?? Flan is not good. Overpriced like crazy too $35 for a chicken with 2 sodas is insane. I paid for the desserts separately which were also very expensive almost $6 each for tiny portions.
