Food was good, another customer had to tell her to take my order, was hoping to have a calm lunch, but the young employee decided to take her break right before I finished proceeded to set an behind me and talk max volume on speaker phone. I recorded in video for rx of volume but it’s not on video for some reason. ‍♀️

The people are amazing! The food is not so good. They cook it perfectly, but they don’t use any spices. I ordered a LOT of food to see how everything is. There was nobody else waiting to order. Everything tastes the same, bland and not actually good. They don’t even use salt on anything. I got a half chicken meal that included a grilled onion. The whole onion I got was only slightly warm, definitely not grilled at all. I ordered a burrito, a quesadilla, a half chicken meal and a bowl. Everything was bland and tasteless. The carrots beans taste like they were poured out of a can and not even heated up. They only gave us 3 little “salsas” with the $50 that was spent. The manager agreed to give us 2 more “salsas” for free. I say “salsa” because it’s what they give as an actual salsa. He was going to charge for more of those little plastic cups. I wanted to love this place, but now they are going to be the last place I would go in desperation. Sorry, but this place is terrible. Save your money and go to Taco Bell instead. The inside of the building is pretty empty. Everything you say gets an echo throughout. You can’t even call because their phone number is unlisted. The building will be vacant again within a year. Hate it.

i love their food but i’m extremely disappointed in there service, everytime i go there there are extremely rude and seem agitated that i’m there. i ordered the tostada ricas and there was no meat on them just lettuce, and avocado which is very disappointing to me, and to top it off they had this really bad attitude towards me. i don’t think i’ll ever be going back unless there customer service changes because this is very unacceptable i shouldn’t be paying for just lettuce and avacado when i paid for meat on my toastdas

We went through the drive through and decided to order one torta de pastor, chicken nachos, chips and queso, and an agua. Service was pretty fast, but when we opened our food there was practically no meat. My torta was mostly lettuce and it has tomatoes which I asked off :/ the chicken nachos were mostly beans guac and pico with maybe ten pieces of chicken. While the food was still good and we did eat it, it’s super disappointing to receive barely any meat with our food when we paid over thirty dollars.

I’m not really sure what people are talking About ? I’m from Austin and moved to San Marcos area and was so excited that they opened here every time I eat something here it’s delicious. Last time I had the gordita, which was awesome this time I had the torta with el pastor it is bomb.com! also, the fries were amazing. The green salsa is something to talk about And the staff is always been nice to me! I only spent $13 and that is for a whole torta meal and a Horchata for my son

The best pollo asado( grilled chicken) you can get north of a bordertown!!! Reminds me of a favorite bordertown restaurant, Pollo Loco…
I highly recommend it. They even give you a 1/2 of a lime to squeeze on the chicken, rice, and beans, a tell tell sign of border cuisine. ❤️

If u don’t want small portions go somewhere else. The food is pretty good, but it is really frustrating how much little they give you especially for what u are paying for.

I would give a better recommendation but I’m new to Texas.
