Lilly was super sweet. Service was amazing and the food was insane. Mixing the rice in the sauce with the green sauce was just crack. Beef was super tender. Love the purple corn drink(chicha morada) had a really nice sweetness with cinnamon hints.

food was good, a little too salty. but they overcharged me $5 on my dish (not including tax/tip) & when i pointed it out, they just gave me a $5 bill instead of calculating how much they should’ve given me back including tax/tip. so i didn’t actually get the amount owed back & i also wasn’t given an apology or explanation of why i got charged $5 more. there also was a band that started playing at the end of our meal, which was great but it was extremely loud because we were sat right in front, probably like 2 ft away from the stage. i shouldn’t have to wear ear protection while eating my food.

This was my first time here with my family. We wanted to eat Peruvian food. So, we gave this place a try. We were going to order food and eat out, but we were invited inside to eat. It’s a small place. There was a small stage in it, too. It was a Sunday after around 1:00 p.m., and it wasn’t too crowded, but they did have a lot of orders going out. The kitchen was clean. They took our order right away. We got chicken chaufa and shrimp saltado with passion fruit juice (maracuya). It was served with two sauces, which was cilantro based, and the other was like a spicy mayonnaise kechep. It was pretty good. We ordered food to go. The portions were generous, and the food was hot and quick! They have some desserts, too. We got the threes’ leches cake and the cookies. Pretty good. There was free parking in the back.

I am reviewing the atmosphere, not the food or service. I love Peruvian rotisserie chicken, which I’ve enjoyed at many Peruvian resaurants across the USA. El Pollo Perun has bern on my bucket list for a long time. I walked in last night to El Pollo Peru to find a noisy restaurant playing loud music. The decor and atmosphere and the shopping center itself where its located looks poor, dirty, and smells unpleasant. I left.

I ordered salchipapas. The fries were fresh and crunchy as potato chips. I loved the sauces that came with it, it made it taste even better. The purple corn drink was tart and refreshing. I loved how it tasted like cinnamon or something like that.

Their shrimp fried rice was good. Overpriced though and not a lot of shrimp for $20. They definitely added their own twists to it. Asian concepts but with a lot of citrus flavors.

It was my first time coming to El Pollo Peru. The food was delicious. We had 1/4 chicken white meat, the chicken was well seasoned and marinated. The papa ala Huancaina was delicious, and all their sauces are made in-house.
