I’m very big on Pollo Loco and have been around quite a few in this area. This is easily the worst one unfortunately.
The food is just bad – Anything leafy or green is always wilted or old, the chicken is super dry and none of it ever tastes fresh or even good. At best, the Burritos are OK.
The sauce/dressing cups are always super watered down and the tortilla chip bags are barely filled to even half the bag. The fountain drink syrup distribution is also set very low (which is whatever about fountain drinks, but I just think that’s pretty silly to skimp on).
Also service is super limited too. I have never been there with someone immediately available to take my order like other locations.
Yesterday, I bought a Chicken Tostada via food delivery from here and it was pretty horrendous. Today, I got one from a different location and the difference was genuinely night and day.
Just overall, this place is ran on the tightest dollar. It’s the closest to me, within walking distance even- but I always AVOID this one and would rather drive to either the Stockton Blvd location or the one on Florin Road. They are much much better.

I love this Pollo Loco. The service is always good and the food is great. If you order a two or three-piece combo, I suggest one of your sides should be the Loco side salad. I add a little chicken, salsa and their delicious cilantro dressing and it is wonderful. Order ahead for a special meal at home, it is great to share with family and friends.

This place is horrible, the employees hate me just because I use coupons which is so weird to me. I come to use coupons and they all talk together with the manager then tell me that the system is down my coupon isn’t valid but when I go to delta shores or any other place it works. I come here a lot so I’m sure the workers know me I just don’t know why they turn me away from ordering there. It happened so many times I had to write this review to hope they see it. Do not come here

This place is set up to scam your money. The burrito is not full size like you would get from another place but charge the full prices. You need 3 to get full which would cost you a lot more. Your better off with the taco bell online exclusive box cost total of $6 for 4 items here you get one small burrito same price.

This place has the best food in town!!! I have to drive several miles out of my way to get there but the food is worth every penny. I’ve only received cold food there once and they promptly rectified the situation promptly!! Food is always hot and fresh!! Love them. Cooking area is clean too.
