I had such a great experience at El Pollo Loco tonight. It was my first time visiting, and I ordered the 8-piece chicken meal with mac & cheese, rice, and a chicken tortilla soup. Everything was incredibly fresh and not greasy at all. The chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly, the mac & cheese tasted homemade and was absolutely superb, and the tortilla soup was delicious and full of flavor.
What really stood out to me, though, was the customer service. The young man working the drive-through was so kind and professional. Since it was my first time, he gave me space to look over the menu and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. I also had to run inside briefly, and the young lady at the front counter was just as friendly and helpful.
It’s always impressive to see young people working hard and providing such excellent service. Great food, great prices, and genuinely kind staff — I would highly recommend this location!

I haven’t been to an el pollo loco since I was in high school, but I had to drive to Watsonville for at and t. I was super hungry and thought I’d try it out after over 20 years. The service was unbelievably good. A gentleman saw me standing there looking confused and he came around and started helping me. Got my order in , then another lady came out to drop somebody’s order at their table and she smiled and greeted me on her way. Excellent service. The food was also good!

The chicken was so small and the lady that served us was very mean and gave us a lot of attitude when I placed the order the lady had gray hair and a tattoo on her face and was built like Nikocado Avocado ️ ️

For fast food, this was delish! I’ve never been to an el pollo loco and I was impressed to see them actually grilling raw chickens over fire right there behind the counter! Try the new tapatío fries dipped in the avocado salsa!

I have only eaten here once. I was given a $15 gift certificate, and ate the chicken avocado salad for dinner. It was remarkably healthy for fast food. There was plenty of grilled (not greasy) chicken and large avocado slices on the lettuce. The avocado was perfectly ripe. The manager and the guy who took my order were attentive and did not rush me. The hyped pop music was not the best ambience, but normal for fast food eaten in. The men’s room was clean.

It was my first time there and I immediately liked the inside atmosphere. I ordered the 11;99 chicken meal. I didn’t mind waiting when the manager and staff said it would be a little longer and I happily waited. The manager offered me two drinks for the wait and I really appreciated that gesture. I left happy and will visit again.
