Dulce is a superstar! This young lady is the reason this place is still in business! She greeted EVERY single customer warmly and was helpful before, during, and after the sale! Additionally, she provided recommendations and options when they ran short on order items.
The service was extremely slow,even when the store had only 8 customers inside. Dozens of chickens were in various stages of doneness on the grill but they just couldn’t crank out the orders. I waited over 20 minutes for my order!
The dining area needed to be bussed and cleaned as tables had straw covers, salsa drippings, and bits of chickens on tabletops from earlier diners. The trash bins were also topped off and needed to be emptied.
Competition is fierce, not just from neighboring brick and mortar restaurants and especially from all the nearby food trucks . El Pollo Loco needs to step up their game!

We were a party of 5. We ordered a family meal, 2 salads, and some chips with guacamole. The order was ready quickly.
We dined inside the restaurant. The tables were clean and we had enough room to sit together.
Everything tasted freshly cooked with good flavors.
We were all really surprised, that guacamole tasted so fresh. Sometimes restaurant guac tasted like it was frozen and thawed.
Beverages are self-serve with free refills when you dine-in.
They also have a drive-thru and an app that you can download to your phone to get discounts and earn free food.

There might be a bit of bias here because there aren’t any El Pollo loco where I live. But it’s always good. Great service and the lady at the register hooked me up by changing my order a little bit to save me a little money.

Pretty bad. This was my first (and last) time trying Pollo Loco. It should be called Pollo Invisible, because… where’s the meat?? It should be illegal to charge $10 for a burrito that is almost nothing but rice.
What few pieces of chicken existed were also not good… somewhat dry, and extremely salty (but otherwise bland flavor.)

I placed an online order a day in advance, scheduled for pickup at 11:30 AM. Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was informed that my order wasn’t ready and was asked to pull to the side. After waiting for 30 minutes without any updates, I returned to the drive-thru to inquire about my order. Initially, the staff claimed they could not locate it, but after further checking, they managed to find it. Unfortunately, the order was finally delivered to me late and cold.
This experience was quite disappointing, as the purpose of ordering online is to ensure convenience and timely service. This situation has made me reconsider using the online ordering option in the future.

First they don’t understand what you’re saying and try to sell you stuff you didn’t ask for. The taco deal is only on Tuesday and so I bought 4 taco way too expensive. $16. When I went to eat there was hardly nothing in the taxi shell. Last time I bought chicken it was dry and so now the chicken deal is over. They are a rip off. Period
