Are they cutting back on the portions?
Looks like it… The food was really good and juicy when they 1st opened, now it’s hit or miss, I see this because of over production and chicken sitting on the grill. The app has some good deals, but the customer connection is lacking, the salsas are fresh, the burritos and bowls are pretty good. I do regularly attend because of a few good workers like Sawyer. I am a regular here, but please keep the chicken fresh.

Well, to start, let me tell you that I love El pollo Loco. have been going to many different locations for over 30 years now. You’d think you can’t go wrong with a place that has been in business since 1980 right, well I’ve learned that you can. To start off my experience, I uploaded a few pictures. This location is fairly new, and I have been to this location 5 different times prior to this review, and most of the pictures are from my last visit. I am yet to come in and find the floor, restrooms, soda machine, and tables clean. Every single time out of my 5 visits, this place is filthy dirty. Initially, I thought because of the new hype and it being a new location that was busy. We are beyond the it’s new hype, I believe. Look at my pictures the place is empty and dirty. Well as I was eating my food and employee on break I’m assuming sits near our table with a soda on hand and a stack of napkins and proceeds to blow his nose and it was a loaded nose let me tell you that much. Definitely not what I want to see or hear while eating my food. On a different visit, 3 employees stood around the lobby talking personal stuff using a lot of profanity Definitely not what you’d like to hear while children are around. I can keep on going and going with all the negative staff related issues I witnessed in 5 visits. The food on all 5 visits was amazing and delicious, but on all 5 visits, the portions on my sides all were not consistent in about. Some days, the cup in where the sides come were under half some time a tad over half full but never full to the top. I love pollo loco, but I’d have second thoughts on going to a place that I know is always dirty. The staff definitely needs to learn people skills and manners. Well, if you are still reading this, don’t take my word for it. Come on down and create your own experience and write your own review.

Place was spectacular clean on a taco Tuesday evening and I was amazed at the resonating decor and menu they offered. I hadn’t eaten inside a pollo loco in years!! I like the decent menu prices and the delicious food was soooo good and flavorful. Lots of light and healthy options and the crew is very nice and helpful. I give a refund of applause to Pollo loco and the crew too

I had a really unpleasant experience during my recent visit to this El Pollo Loco location. While waiting in the drive thru, I could hear what seemed to be the general manager loudly yelling at the staff to hurry up with orders. It created such an uncomfortable and tense environment I felt rushed just trying to place my order.
When I finally received my food, I was disappointed again. I ordered a double tostada, and there was barely any chicken in it. The lettuce looked old and unappetizing, and overall, the quality of the food just didn’t match what I expected.
This visit was a huge letdown, and I won’t be returning. The way the staff is treated and the lack of care in the food shows that this location really needs better management.

Went inside, ordered and as of writing, I’m currently still waiting after 20 minutes and I’m the only person in here…(edit) i had lost my debit card there and came back the next day and they had found it for me. Unfortunately they have messed up my order multiple times since then. At this point I feel I’ve given more than enough chances to this particular store.

Run. I drove up and they said “how can we help you?” I proceed to order an 8 piece meal. They tell me its going to be a 25 minute wait lol and I left. Two weeks go by and I go again. Same thing happened again! NO chicken! They told me it would be a 40 minute wait! Sooo you are the chicken fast food restaurant with no chicken? I mentioned it to a family member and they mentioned they were also short on mac and cheese and their sides. It is clear there is absolutely no one with leadership at this location. I will not be surprised of this place closes down. Employees do the absolute bare minimum.

Used a $6 app deal for a chicken avocado burrito. Also bought 2 chicken tacos for $5. There was less chicken in the burrito than in 1 taco. Called them and they said come back and they would give me another. I did and it had a lot of chicken but how did I get all the pieces with tendons? Hmmmm. I gave you 2 chances. Never going back. Not even for free. Not even if you paid me.
Why would I want to contact customer service to repeat what I already said. You have the info. Retrain your owner, manager, and staff. You have 1 chance to make a great impression.
