The manager was just asked by a customer for cup for their order and she said what? Oh the cashier will give that to you and proceeds to go to the bathroom, most likely to be on her phone ..as if she’s above giving a customer a cup? She always very loud and rude.. do better pollo loco

Everything was great until I got my food. The amount of chicken I got on my Double Chicken Bowl was sad. I tried complaining to get more chicken, but they refused. I separated the chicken from the rice and the beans to show them the portion, and they still refused. Gave them two chances, so I requested my money back. The manager took it personally and started being rude. It’s not your chicken, so ridiculous to act like it is. She tried refunding me for the bowl only, which makes no sense since I have to go to another restaurant. I can’t take food into a restaurant from another restaurant. She told me to throw the food away. How dumb, instead of giving me another scoop of chicken, she made me waste my lunch time and throw away food. Never eating at Pollo Loco again.

I’m not even being dramatic when I say this was one of the best fast food experiences of my life. The food? Always fire. That signature flame-grilled chicken hits every single time – juicy, smoky, and full of flavor like it was made with love. But today? The service took it to another level.
There were two ladies working the counter with the BIGGEST smiles and the kindest energy I’ve ever seen in a fast food spot. You could tell they actually enjoyed being there – they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. It made me feel like I was walking into my favorite auntie’s kitchen. They didn’t just take my order – they made my day.
Quick service, clean space, hot food, and EXTRAORDINARY customer care? El Pollo Loco, y’all understood the assignment. Give those ladies a raise because THAT is how you keep customers coming back. I left with a full stomach and a full heart.

Super disappointed in the cashier who took my order. Very rude and said “you’re welcome!” when she gave me the receipt. She was rushing my elderly mother who was trying to read the menu by asking if we were ready several times. Then we were trying to pay with EBT and she was like “you need to let me know if you want to pay with an EBT”.
Other than that our food was made promptly and just had to leave.
I’m sad to have this experience because my mom was visiting for the week and I was excited to take her to one of my favorite restaurants.

It’s a good place, but people that have just come in after they pick up their food they then sit in their car for a half an hour with their headlights blaring on you while you’re trying to eat inside the restaurant. Thanks for blinding me. This happens too often.
