When i got home i discovered a disappointing surprise.
My burrito was about half the normal size and to make things worse there was no chicken inside.
I drove back to this El pollo loco and respectfully asked for my money back, I did not yell at anyone.
The workers were a bunch of kids.
Per the manager, the person who prepared my order was in training.
I hate giving restaurant workers a bad review especially during a hectict lunch hour but in my case there was only one car ahead of me and no customers inside.
Hopefully this was just a random bad night since my previous food orders were on point.
managers (Maritza) initially only offered chips and guacamole as compensation, and even then, did not want to refund the full amount I had paid. It took her about 20 minutes and a call to a supervisor(Vanessa) just to return the full amount I was owed.
The lack of training, urgency, and basic customer care was frustrating. I hope this location seriously improves its standards in both hygiene and management practices.
