I live 5min away from this pollo loco and they always have sun type of an excuse. They didn’t have chips for my son’s kids meal. And the raspberry ice tea was nothing but water like. Last time they didn’t gave me napkins and salsa. All this teenagers need to take this job more seriously.

I’ve had previous decent service, today the only wrong thing with my order was the under cooked chicken and my cilantro not being chopped up. The cook must have been really lazy today. In the past the issues are not checking my order bc they forget my utensils or salsas or something else. Today I was more disappointed that I had to leave a review. Only reason I continue to go is bc it’s close to my job. I’ll have to start going somewhere else for my weekend lunches.

Drive thru order seems nice. But as you can see after I came home I saw my order was not what I asked for. I ordered the 3 piece meal and asked for the creamy cilantro sauce but didn’t get it with my lunch meal.

I bought this tostada salad and the amount of chicken they on it is ridiculously small and under the lettuce you can barely see rice and beans. I know the economy is bad but this is just ridiculous. I just saw the other bad reviews and I should have checked them before going to this place. I saw that they have apologized for some bad experiences with some customers but I guess they have done nothing to fix the problem.

Word of advice for anyone picking up drive- thru.
check your food before you leave the plaza.
When i got home i discovered a disappointing surprise.
My burrito was about half the normal size and to make things worse there was no chicken inside.
I drove back to this El pollo loco and respectfully asked for my money back, I did not yell at anyone.
The workers were a bunch of kids.
Per the manager, the person who prepared my order was in training.
I hate giving restaurant workers a bad review especially during a hectict lunch hour but in my case there was only one car ahead of me and no customers inside.
Hopefully this was just a random bad night since my previous food orders were on point.

They said they only served 8 pc meals not 12 pc meals 8pm but the store closes at 9:30pm. They then proceeded to be very rude after we placed an order. The workers who work the night shift are very lazy.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Pollo Loco. I found a hair in my food, which is completely unacceptable from a cleanliness and food safety standpoint. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, managers (Maritza) on duty were unable or unwilling to process a refund, claiming they didn’t know how to use the system.
managers (Maritza) initially only offered chips and guacamole as compensation, and even then, did not want to refund the full amount I had paid. It took her about 20 minutes and a call to a supervisor(Vanessa) just to return the full amount I was owed.
The lack of training, urgency, and basic customer care was frustrating. I hope this location seriously improves its standards in both hygiene and management practices.

Place is a hit n miss. One day, they have great service and food, and then the next, it’s like a totally different establishment. I guess it depends ok the whomever is working that day, lol! If you have a coupon for the family meal, use it. You get a substantial discount, plus you can add an 8-piece chicken only for a few bucks more.
