Been to this location over the past few years, its gotten alot busy. I got to give props to the staff for being efficient and friendly. Brenda specifically, was taking and handing out orders on her own and also jumping to the back to make the food at one point. she was fast and friendly. The manager on duty also had a great attitude! The food was great quality will definitely be back!

El pollo loco is one of my favorite fast food places to go but this location ruined that for me I am new to the area first experience was terrible. Got a family meal. All my sides were wrong and the chicken they gave us was burnt dark meat with hardly any meat on it but I decided to give it a try again today 3 Pollo bowls and a tortilla soup two of my bowls were so watery as if they were soup I showed the drive-through girl and asked her why they look like this. She said oh that’s just how they make them. It’s just the beans. I told her it’s not supposed to be like this. She said that’s just how they are. the juice was spilling in the bag and everything in the bowls was soggy. my soup tastes worse than a canned soup guess they change the recipe I used to love it. The girl in the drive-through seemed as if she was miserable working there from the moment she asked me if I’m ready to order I had to ask her multiple times for sauces very bad customer services.

El Pollo Loco Apple Valley has great service and honestly very juicy and flavorful chicken. Was starting to lose confidence in El Pollo loco until visiting this location. Avocado salsa is just the right amount of spice and compliments the chicken and a salad! Will be coming back again!

I’ve been coming to this EPL for over two years, ever since I moved into the area. At first they did me wrong at the drive thru a couple of times, but I didn’t complain or post a review. I want to clarify that I mostly use their drive thru, and since the first few visits the drive thru has gotten much better. Fast forward to a couple of nights ago when I went inside to order and eat my food in there. First off, when you’re in line to place an order they ignore you for quite a while. And this is based on the fact that I had gone in there one time before and they did the same thing to me. A while by the way is around 4 to 5 mins, with no one else in line. But that’s only the beginning. The place was dirty as hell. The tables were discussing, the floor was oily and sticky throughout. The tray they served my on was disgustingly sticky and oily on the top and the bottom. Then I go back two days later to the drive thru. Only because my mother wanted a half chicken from there. Well the young lady at the drive thru, who took my order gives me a total of $20 and some change. Which I immediately contested because I buy that half chicken for my mother pretty regularly. Anyway she said OOPS that’s right, it’s only half a chicken. Pull up to the window and I’ll give you the right amount. When I get there she says it’ll be $13 and change, which was still wrong. I asked her if the price went up, and she said OMG why isn’t it giving me the correct total? She eventually got it right, but if I didn’t say anything she would’ve charged me the $20 plus dollars guaranteed. Anyway, if you’re reading this, I think you get the point by now. Oh yeah, when I first got to the window she tried to give me two separate orders, neither of which was mine. I think I’m gonna have to change EPL’s and go further from home. I should’ve taken pics, which I usually do.

First they messed up our order and the girl apologized and said she will get us our remaining food and throw in some churros so I was like alright cool. So while I waited for my husband to pick up my tacos I was telling my toddler to eat his tacos but he kept saying it was nasty. I was like nooo eat your food! But he completely refused.
So I was like alright I will eat them then and you can have my fresh tacos when Dad gets home. When I started eating the tacos, he was right, they tasted like cleaner or some kind of nasty old or chemical taste. So I threw those tacos away!
My husband came home. We started eating the new tacos and the same thing. The tacos tasted gross or old even the churros that the lady threw in for us. I think it might be the oil. Anyways, this is my documentation in case we all die from food poisoning

I came to the drive through at 8pm on Friday and they were closed??? I have been coming to this location for years past 8pm and all of a sudden they are closed before 8pm with no explanation? Yeah that was my last straw with this location the environment and the staff have gone down so much in the past few years and I just can’t take their horrible attitudes and poor service anymore

Waited at least 45 minutes inside for my order to go. Watched at least 7 people that came in after me get there orders first. Finally got my order and it was the most sad double chicken salad I’ve ever seen. Literally had like 4 small pieces of chicken. Never coming to this one again

Overall food is good. Their prices have gone up just like everywhere, but charging for extra condiments and dressings when it was complimentary is just thievery.
