Listen, I came for chicken and left questioning my loyalty to all other fast food. El Pollo Loco’s fire-broiled chicken is so good it should be illegal—or at least come with a warning: May cause spontaneous happy dancing. Juicy, smoky, and seasoned like someone’s abuela put a spell on it. 10/10 would betray my diet again. Shout to the Manager Axel! extraordinary service.

Worst in the chain I’ve found yet. Franchisee “cheats” on size of chickens…comes out overcooked and dry-as-bone

Wing was skin over bone…so they threw on another. I guess they thought two un- eatable wings was better than one un-eatable wing. Da!
Salty to the max…didn’t really even taste like Polo Loco’s recipe.
Mac and cheese was watered down soup.
Very disappointing!
No Jalipanios! Asian peppers instead.

This location apparently closes 30 minutes before their posted closing time and when one employee welcomes you the other tells you they’re closed and no longer serving by 9:30pm. Very unprofessional and deceiving. Either change your posted hours of operation or hire workers that actually want to work.

Dedicated hard working staff. Keven who should be in his early 20’s really went all the way to ensure that I’ve a selection of my choices. Being from NY he took time to know me and suggest food per my palate. Hard working, dedicated and sincere staff like him make business establishments successful. I drove 15 minutes from the nearest El Pollo Loco, only to find a $1.25 markup on every item compared to sister locations. While businesses have the right to set their own prices, it’s disheartening when hard-working individuals, who contribute to the success of the business, are charged more. i ordered a large chips with quacamole. the price was $4.when i saw my receipt ,i was over charged $4.99 . this is illegal!!! i have my receicpt to prove it.And i have picture of $4.00 price . the cashier changed the price to $4.99 right in front of me as i took a picture in my phone.And when my order was ready. my quacamole was half filled. i asked and the server that gave me the food,she gave me an attitute and said that they serve it half filled,it is not acceptable. i am spending my hard earn money and i just wan ted to eat my favorite chicken in peace .Oh no!, i got the worst customer service ever!!.el pollo loco needs to make it right with my visit. watch for !!!,over charging in your receipt. whole staff is greeting you as you walk in the store. but over charging¬ giving enough of your food. Best of the best. Chicken is the juiciest in the evening, so I recommend you visit during that time to get the best chicken. Chicken nachos with the breast instead of the shredded are top tier. Best El Pollo Loco in SoCal. Staff is always friendly, and the place is always clean.
