Grabbed a chicken bowl and some chips on my lunch break, and it hit the spot. The grilled chicken was tender with that smoky flavor they’re known for, and the avocado salsa was a solid touch. Rice was a little dry, though, and the chips could’ve been fresher. Staff was polite and quick, no complaints there. The place was clean and not too busy, so it was an easy in-and-out kind of meal—not fancy, but satisfying.

Today, I went to El Pollo Loco and tried to order my usual bowl. The cashier asked me to use the kiosk, but I explained that the kiosk wouldn’t accept my discount (Senior ). She then asked me to scan my ID, but I told her I didn’t want my personal information in their system.
At that point, she became rude, said “Then I can’t help you,” mumbled something under her breath, and walked away.
Several customers behind me commented that her behavior was rude, and one of the employees on their way to lunch looked at me with what seemed like embarrassment. I decided to leave.
I’ve noticed that since the installation of the kiosk machines, the quality of customer service and the friendliness of your staff have significantly declined.
I know I’m just one customer—but you’ve lost this one.

Customer service was horrible, I paid for a double chicken toastada and they gave me this at the drive through, make sure you guys check your food before you guys head out, they are ripping people off

My first time salad order. I ordered a Mexican cob fiesta salad combo and then I ordered another Mexican cob fiesta salad no corn à la cart. When I got home, the combo order Which should’ve had everything did not have Corn no bell pepper no dressing and no chips or salsa. I was very disappointed. I was really looking forward to this because it looks so good on the menu screen. I will know next time not to order this.

The cashier that was dispatching today on September 12th 2025 at around 3:30PM was a complete rude person. Gave my aunt a hella disgusting face just cause the cashier didn’t hear her say 2 rice orders. And then the food overall was alright but the tomato salad thing that they give in small containers was expired.. it tasted horrible. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if they keep the cashier my aunt encountered today you can go if you want someone to give you a disgusting face, roll her eyes at you.. etc.

Restaurant was a mess. Floors, tables, salsa bar, bathrooms. After mentioning the lobby was dirty an employee began sweeping around me and my table but no where else. Chicken was cold and dry like it had been lightly reheated. seek different restaurant location .
