For lunch, we planned for a stopover at El Pollo Loco because Tom wanted to try out the fire-grilled, citrus marinated chicken here and compare them to the roasted chicken in Peru.
This morning, after a 45 minutes drive, we arrived at El Pollo Loco (Pico Canyon Newhall) at 1145. We ordered the half chicken combo (4 pieces of chicken) with coleslaw, broccoli, tortillas and a large drink for $17.55 inclusive of taxes
We must say that the chicken was well-marinated and really tasted. You could taste the smokey, flame-grilled flavours as you bite into the chicken…

Horrible experience in the drive thru, I asked for something simple a two piece white meat chicken meal with two loco side salad with only 4 avocado salsas and one creamy cilantro dressing. They give me the wrong salsas, no beverage and don’t even look at you or say anything at all. These girls need better customer service and if don’t want to be there well get another job simple as that. Do your job right or don’t do it all. I used to be a worker for pollo loco before when I was younger and no matter the job even if I hated it I would do my best period.

Long line only 1 cashier, I even ask if they have more cashier because there was a lot of people waiting and the boy said they don’t have it I was wow. No customer service skills, they need more training. I’m in my travel roud and just stop there for dinner I was looking for chicken avocado burrito but they did not had avocado nor guacamole, so I had burrito de rancheros it was good.

Food is awesome.but the service is bad. The young skinny guy gave the customers attitude.I’m a resident of Valencia .I used coupon today and paid cash.first gave me wrong change and didn’t apologize.but it’s ok.and I asked for spicy sauce which is I always get every time.but the young guy told me he doesn’t have it. Come on.I told him I’m 100% sure you have it .I just don’t want give to me!

What a great place to get food, I used to go almost every single day, I tried almost all of their dishes they were all good, I definitely recommend it to everyone but if u don’t wanna be on long wait line better don’t go at lunch time, it gets really crowded and there’s not enough seats for all. Good and healthy food!!
