The chicken is the only thing that is realy good at Pollo Loco. Forget the burritos, tacos, salads etc. Chicken and flour tortillas are the only thing worth the money they now charge after big increases in cost over the last few years. Much better value for the dollar and better tasting to boot, at Panda Express. They have kept quality high and prices have not gone up as much as Pollo Loco.

I eat here 1-2 times a week and it’s always consistently very good. Best chicken of all-time imo! Illiana has always taken my order whether at the drive-thru or in restaurant. She is very professional and helped give me the best deal possible through the app.

I walked in and to my disappointment this location has not upgraded yet to self ordering on a screen, and I was particularly bummed about that because not only does the staff ignore you but had to wait a long moment to even get to my order. Then they served 2 customers who came after me before me. Once I got my salad and was waiting for my chicken breast a la carte since they said they were cooking more, I had to wait several minutes. Then another customer came in much later and order a chicken breast and a water and they served him first and made me wait another couple minutes for my chicken. Worst experience ever at El Pollo loco. And, the bathroom were dirty as well as the restaurant overall, have rarely seen this level of neglict and lack of cleanliness! I would never go there again and highly recommend going to another location!!!!

Fast food, I get it, but the food cooking quality difference between this location and others is stark. The chicken is always hammered! WAY over cooked. Do they mean to do this, or does it just sit there because they don’t want to throw the old cooked chicken away? Considering how expensive it is, you should expect a quality that matches the price.

Rolling your eyes at a customer because they asked for salsa isn’t the best customer service response. Food was OK, chicken was dry and scarce in my Pollo bowl.

The order taker/cashier rang up the wrong food charging us more for our meal. They refused to do a refund on the card, citing that their computer will not allow it (wrong, that would be illegal). So they kindly gave us the couple bucks back in cash (against their merchant agreement with their credit card processor; it’s like a cash advance without the 30% interest, of course that’s not allowed).

In the end the food we expected was on our tray, and there were no issues there.

I had the skinless breast black bean bowl combo. I’d get it again.

This piece of paper was in my husband’s tostada we picked up today. I called them to let them know and really didn’t care. They said it was from the avocados. No offer to replace our order. Never will I go back there again.

I wish there is a less star to give. This branch decided to package chicken that they must have reheated several times because we ordered online. Got home only to find the chicken so dry that my kids just couldn’t eat them.
It is really sad that people could pack food for that is almost like a left over which was what my girls called it. Wanted to drive back and throw the food at them, but my wife asked me not to do so. She had to make food so late for the kids to eat. Just so sad and wicked from the workers.

Good food : Very Bad Service. Employees there seem not to like the job there . I ordered to go and the guy gave a plastic bag to carry my 4 drinks . Very nasty environment.
