I just had to come here to say how courteous and professional the staff that worked this evening Tuesday 12/16/25 at the Clark Ave and Los Coyotes Diagonal location is. They were extremely busy but held everything together very well. I took my food to go and everyone at my house really enjoyed it. Thank you to the staff, great job.

Food: I ordered the tostada salad with double chicken. Is about $11. For that price should have been a little bit more greens and more chicken. It was delicious though. The tortillas were warm. And the salsa was good. I think I’ll just stick with the chicken because I love El Pollo loco chicken.
Service: The service was prompt, friendly, attentive, and accurate. The person gave me recommendations of what to eat.
Final thought: The salad was good but there just wasn’t enough greens or chicken to justify a $12 meal. The chicken is always good so I’ll stick with that next time. This location is pretty clean and looks like it has been remodeled recently.

Honestly, the best pollo loco I ate at, got a 7.99 meal everything about it was just picture perfect and tasted amazing. Had it all, sauces napkins, fresh, price. Might be cause I was starving but pretty solid.

Please take away the kiosks! It slowed everything down to a crawl. The staff still had to intervene after it took 10 minutes to make our order. Stop the madness!

No line and the kiosks still took almost 10 minutes to order. Also, there’s no hands cleanser after you use it. We asked for a cleaning wipe but didn’t get anything. Sorry, but this is nasty and inefficient.

This location has been a neighborhood staple since I was a boy. The chicken has been consistently well-cooked and flavorful throughout this time. Unfortunately, they have changed the recipe for their pico de gallo, which really was the only decent salsa they offered. This is a shame, because they had the best pico of any EPL location in SoCal. It used to be slightly green in hue and had a soupcon of lime to it. Now it’s just watered down and is hardly distinguishable from the house salsa.
Errors in my order are frequent but the managers are great about making you whole again.

Terrible service. “”””Drive thru is prioritized””” due to them being “”timed”” so 20 drive thru cars get there food first before anybody who placed there food inside. Every establishment is identical leading to terrible in person service. I was the only one who placed food order inside because there was 7 cars in drive thru. 40minutes later I get my food and walking outside I realize the thrive thru was clear.

Came in to this el pollo loco expecting nothing crazy and I was mind blown by how sweet the staff was. Every single staff member welcomed and greeted me with a smile. The service was immediate, the staff were so kind, and the food was delicious. Even the pricing was fantastic! I’ve never expected great service from a fast food restaurant but this el pollo loco went above and beyond. Will be coming back to this location and I give this store the highest review possible! Much better than any service ever offered at Chick-Fil-A.
