The chicken is good, which is why I’m giving it a 3. However, the service is terrible. I arrived at 9:03 pm yesterday and the staff informed me that someone had placed a large order and they had run out of chicken. There was still an hour until closing time, which was more than enough time to prepare chicken for customers. It’s unacceptable that they couldn’t do chicken with an hour left til closing.

Rude Service and No Basic Manners
I had one of the worst experiences at this fast food restaurant today. From the moment I walked in, there was zero acknowledgment or greeting from the staff. The cashier had the worst attitude—no smile, no eye contact, and acted like I was bothering her by placing an order. When I said “thank you” after paying, she completely ignored me and didn’t even bother to respond. Instead, she was too busy talking and laughing with her coworkers, completely disregarding the customers.
The lack of basic customer service and common courtesy was shocking. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere where they actually value their customers. I won’t be coming back.

Really good food. Not all El Pollo Locos are created equally. This location has good salsa, and their chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly.

I like that we can get rewards for eating here but , when I got my receipt they cut off the rewards points. And they are pretty rude . Rushing me to order after I ask for a minute to look over the menu.

I got a tostada bowl and when i got home 3 bites into it I found a piece of blue plastic/rubber…in it the size of a quarter.. Thankfully I choked on it and not my son cause we were gona split it.. I asked for my money back and for a gift card so I can go to a different so pollo loco and all the manager did was give me my money back and remake it -_- I wasn’t trying to be picky though I always go to a diff location and this one time I come to this one this happens.. Smh I won’t come here again.
