This visit took place around 4:30 PM when I walked into this Pollo Loco location. I’ve been going to other locations for years, and honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve had so far.
After placing my order, I noticed that the cashier side of the restaurant was unattended for quite some time, about 15 minutes. During that time, only the cook and the drive-thru employee were actively working, focusing solely on drive-thru orders. I saw my food sitting on the pass-through, unattended, with no one at the front counter. Eventually, the cook came to the front and brought me my order. Unsurprisingly, the food was cold.
I asked for a refire and requested some salsas, only to be told they were out of salsa verde, which is very unusual based on my experience at other locations. When the food was refired, it was served on a messy-looking plate with only five individual chips tossed on top of the tacos, as if no care was taken.
When I went to get my drink, the Vitamin Water was watered down and clearly needed the syrup replaced. I then tried the unsweetened tea, which was completely empty.
I strongly urge the management of this location to re-evaluate staffing levels and service priorities, as this experience was far below the standard I’ve come to expect from this brand.

My wife and I were in the area and we stopped by on Sunday to have dinner. Our first impression seemed something wasn’t right as there were no other customers inside. We walked up to the counter and there were like 6-7 employees just standing around talking, maybe 1 was at the grill. We ordered our food and then headed over to the fountain drink machine. I noticed right away the counter there had not been wiped down in a while and had numerous stains. We proceeded to fill our cups and then started to look for a seat while waiting for our order. We noticed every table with the exception of one, was covered with trash, food etc. We sat down at the table, however we did have to wipe it down ourselves. Our number was called and we grabbed our food and went back to the table. We then noticed the floors in general had trash everywhere. I can only assume the grills are not cleaned on a regular basis. The trash cans were overfilled as well.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this El Pollo Loco location. On the day of my visit, I specifically chose to stop here because the drive-thru line was empty and I wanted a quick in-and-out experience. I arrived around 3:10 PM and placed a simple order waited over 30 minutes in the line. The manager promised to call me back to offer a gift card for my inconvenience but she never did! I’m done with El Pollo Loco!

My sister got back to the house and the macaroni and cheese was not in the bag! What a surprise the chicken wasn’t hard and burned as usual. You guys have got to get it together! I live in the area of this location, but instead of going to my local El Polo Loco, I drive to Gardena. They never disappoint! You guys could learn a lot about grilling chicken from them.

This El Pollo Loco is the newest of this franchise in the area. It’s a welcomed addition to the area. The service is swift and efficient. The staff are professional and courteous. And the food is served fresh and hot. I feel that I will find myself stopping by here very often in the future.

I will NEVER go back to this location. I ordered a 2 pc breast and wing meal with a double order of pinto beans. Well, they gave me 2 thighs and a drumstick. The beans do not have a drop of liquid in them so they are dry. This is ridiculous!!!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST LOCATION OF ALL. THE CHICKEN IS COMPLETELY DRIED OUT. THE SKIN IS SO HARD YOU MUST THROW IT AWAY. IT IS OVER COOKED. YOU NEED TO CLOSE THIS LOCATION UNTIL YOU GET A NEW CHEF. WE WENT ON 4 DIFFERENT DAYS WITH THE SAME RESULTS. IT IS DEPLORABLE!!!!
