The food is great, but the portions are too small for the price. ( the reason for four stars).
We have been here so many times and never had any issues. Food always tasted great, chicken was juicy and always seasoned well. It tasted fresh and delicious . But our only complaint is the portions that are way too small, we left hungry, it used to be cheaper and the portions were bigger, but not anymore. We have ordered their “new loco burrito grillers “and the burritos were really small .
El pollo loco definitely needs to improve that .

Ordered double tostada chicken salad , does not come with any salsa! This location charges 50 cents per container of salsa! They don’t even give one as complimentary! The interior is old and outdated, and there was no air conditioning on, so it was hot and stuffy and smelled of raw chicken! Really bad El pollo loco to eat at, just an awful experience here!

I ordered through the app on a Tuesday evening. I specifically asked for sauces and dressings but NONE of them were included in my pick up order! If the sauces needed to be packed myself, I would have if I were instructed to do so. But all they did was give me the bag of food. I shouldn’t have to look through my order to make sure it’s all correct: I honestly expect things to get packed correctly the first time. However, the redeeming part of this review is that the food was warm, tasty, and packaged nicely. But again I would have preferred if they actually included the sauces I asked for. I even mentioned that I wanted sauces in the app!

First time trying El Pollo Loco and I was pleasantly surprise. The chicken was delicious. I got the 3 piece box. It can with 2 sides. I got 2 legs and suppose to be a thigh, but it was more like the back not sure, but it definitely wasnt a thigh. I got one rice and one fries. The rice serving was super small and the french fries were cold. I was disappointed about that. Wish I had gotten 2 rice instead. The rice was good. I also got a bowl. Came out to be about $24. I gave this a 4 star because it was delish!

Excellent healthy grilled (not fried) chicken. Good sides too. Complicated self order machines. Scan your driver’s license at the end of your order for senior discount which is complicated . Ask for help if needed. Prices are very reasonable.

The drive thru has problems with using Credit cards at times and inside you have to order on a machine and can’t make modifications. But the food is ALWAYS good.

I ordered online to pick up coz there is a long line for the drive through. Followed instruction to pick up at the counter. Door hand written says…..
What did I do? Well, I ended up waiting at the long line. Then, at the window there he goes a man standing withe no greetings at all and looked like already tired. He looked at me crazy and I had to tell him repeatedly that I ordered online. I had three stars at least for the female person who spoke to me over the microphone but had to changed to a one star with the man’s attitude.

Best fast food chicken out there. I just love the unique taste to their chicken. Chicken was soft and flavorful. The flour tortillas that came with my order was fresh and not a hard part on it. Lots of sides to choose from and prices were reasonable.

Love the chain dislike this location, I keep coming here because it’s convenient and healthy considering it being fast food. But every time I come I have to double check my order before I leave due to lack of attention to detail. Apart from brown guacamole, soggy fries and forgetting my salad dressing. They never give cutlery and napkins. I shouldn’t have to ask for these items. Crazy chicken management need to step up your game
