I ordered a California burrito. It was really really good. One of the best. Great taste. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. The ingredients were fresh and complicated the burrito perfectly. Salsas were great. Definitely reccomend.

Stopped in at El Pollo Grill in Chula Vista and tried their California burrito. It was good, but nothing special. The tortilla was fresh and held up well, but the fries inside weren’t crispy and the carne asada came out a bit dry. Overall, it was filling but lacked that extra flavor and texture that makes a California burrito memorable.

We ordered the Cali burritos (huge, flavorful, and packed just right), the carne asada fries (loaded with guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and tender carne asada), crispy tacos stacked with lettuce, cheese, and guac, plus plenty of chips with salsa. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the green salsa especially had the perfect kick.
The vibe is casual and welcoming, the service is quick, and the quality is consistently excellent. Whether you’re craving a hearty burrito, loaded fries, or just some chips and salsa with friends, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Amazing chicken el pollo grill is delicious I got the half bird and the chicken was so good big juicy pieces rice and beans delicious and I got a California burrito that was equally delicious definitely a must try restaurant service was good and plenty of parking

I strongly recommend choosing a different location for good Mexican food, as there are many better options within a 20-minute drive, including Chipotle, Mike’s Red Tacos, and Ed Fernandez. I ordered a Cali burrito and two mulitas. The mulitas were the only redeeming aspect, keeping this from being a one-star disaster in terms of food quality, raising the review to two stars. The mulitas are large, so there’s no need to order extra food; I made that mistake by ordering the burrito. You will need to season your food yourself. You’d think the chefs would do this, but I guess not. Season the mulitas with lime, salt, and salsa for an average meal. Anything else on the menu will be disgusting. Save your money and your palate—do not eat here.

We came here to support our friend with her school fundraiser, she said El Pollo grill would donate a % to them. I must say we were pleasantly surprised, this place is great. They have family meal packages to go or eat there. We order the chicken with all the fixings for 4. It is delicious
