Just moved here about a year ago to North Highlands and have driven by this little spot many times. Today we decided to get lunch for our crew and we are very impressed! The chicken was juicy and flavorful. We ordered the chicken plates for the guys and a chicken taco for myself. I will say it’s a big taco, but it’s only one tortilla, so if you’re a two taco tortilla type of person, definitely ask for an extra tortilla.. We will be stopping by more often to this place.. Looks can be deceiving, so give it a try!!

Ordered 8 pc chicken and Cassadia. Salsa and chips was complementary and tasted good. Chicken pieces were soft and tender and almost melted in mouth. Smoky flavor in the chicken added to the taste. Enjoyed the food with my kids.

Old joint on Watt Avenue in North Highlands. They’re grilling the chicken fresh, and it tastes pretty good. A very slight step above El Pollo Loco. Rice is good, beans are bland. A 3 piece plate with rice, beans, a grilled jalapeno pepper, and a bottle of Jarritos set me back $21. The polite guy who took my order served chips and salsa, checked on me twice, and opened the back door leading to the bathroom. 4 stars, my man!

I am so impressed with this little restaurant. Staff are nice and the food is great. Plus they have yummy vegetarian options. You can sit down and eat while enjoying the delightful complimentary chips and salsa, but they also have a drive thru for those on the go. My only regret is how many times I’ve driven by and not stopped in. I’ve been missing out all this time.

Worst carne asada fries!! Came to dine in with my son and ordered 1 carne asada fries and it only comes with fries, cheese, carne asada. I had to pay extra for sour cream. Literally worst place to come for asada fries. Carne asada fries doesn’t come with guac or pico or sour cream, it’s all extra you have to pay. Don’t ever stop here if you want carne asada fries.
