Our favorite family-owned establishment in a vibrant East Side neighborhood offers $1.89 tacos on Mondays and kitchen-to-table service. Can’t get enough of the choriqueso & chips! No beer but they do have Jarritos (try the mango!), which is equally addicting.

My husband stopped by their place and ordered a bunch of food.
He got me the pescado zarandeado (grilled red snapper) and the bbq ribs. He got himself the carne asada with shrimp plate and pollo asado.
My fish was good but not as good as what you can get when you’re actually in MX.
My advice, eat it at the restaurant. It’s a little overcooked when it got home because of the travel. I did not like the the bbq ribs though. Too sweet, but I know a lot of Minnesotans like sweet bbq, so some might like this.
My husband liked his carne asada and shrimp plate. I like them too. The shrimp was perfectly done (even with the 40 min or so drive) so that’s a plus.
The pollo asado was ok.
All in all, I’ll still try to go there and try some of the other food in the menu, like the alambre and the caldo.

I went there and ordered 9 birria tacos and my order was completely wrong. There was no vegetables on my order and no soup that came with my order. I called them as soon as I got home and the guy told me to come back in but at that point they closed in 15min. I told him I lived 20min away and that they would be closed so he told me to call the next day because there was nothing he could do without a manager. I called multiple times the next day and when they finally answered they told me there was nothing they could do because we ate the food. I explained to them it was almost 10pm and that I bought the food for my family. I couldn’t let the kids go without eating. I explained to him I took pictures of every taco that was there to show them because I wanted a refund. They said the only thing they can do was remake 4 tacos for me. Really disappointed. I do not recommend. If you do go there make sure your order is correct before leaving.

I had high hopes, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. The ceviche was nearly frozen and tasted like it had been made days in advance — definitely not fresh. The restaurant itself didn’t feel very clean, with a greasy atmosphere that was hard to overlook. On a positive note, the hamburger was surprisingly good, but that alone isn’t enough to bring me back. Overall, I don’t think I’d return.

One of the best BBQ chicken in Minnesota. If you come here, there is no reason to try any other dish. You have to try the BBQ chicken plate, you will thank me. The price is very reasonable, the service is excellent and the most important, is delicious.

Service was very kind and friendly. The burrito suizo and enchiladas were great. I also ordered tamales to heat up at home the next day,that were amazing. The tres leches was some of my favorite ever. Price for the amount of food was very fair.

My ultimate go-to place for tacos! Before El Pollo Felix, it was called Los Sanchez and I absolutely loved it. I still love it to this day. The fries are just phenomenal! Really a hidden gem ❤️

An expensive order for days old boiled ribs drizzled in some funky sauce. Chicken was dry with no flavors. The only thing they could not mess up were the fries. Called them up, got passed around and told to bring the ribs fir replacement. Why don’t you just use fresh meat rather than boiling them the days before. At least put it on the grill and pretend it was cooked. This was our first and last time. This place won’t be around if it continues taking these shortcuts. Spend your money elsewhere. We tried to mask the taste and smell with spices and it still smelled old so we put it in the most appropriate place, in the trash.
