This cozy spot in downtown Salem, MA packs a flavorful punch. The staff radiates warmth and hospitality, making every visit feel like a welcome home. The menu is impressively diverse—perfect for repeat visits without ever getting bored. I tried the tacos and they were bursting with flavor. And the prices? A total steal. If you’re looking for delicious food, friendly vibes, and unbeatable value, this place is a must-visit.

Good flavors but feel like the Torta is missing meat!!. This is the 3rd one and they always are inconsistent always barely no meat. I live locally so I try and give them business but you want bread and tomatoes and cheese come here. There is plenty of other places to choose from in the area…if you need to raise the price for more Meat in the Torta im sure we would all pay it. Tacos are good here but 2 bites only.

Wow! I ordered take out. This place is so yummy and amazing. I didn’t take pictures of the shrimp nor fish cause I was so hungry! But I am amazed. The shrimp taco, the Al pastor taco, and fish taco was my favorite. The salsa is homemade and excellent. The best tacos I ever had -hands down. I’ll be back!

It’s OKAY Mexican food. I would have liked more for my dollar considering it was hard communicating with them, considering they knew no English. I am part Lebanese as well as Italian so I definitely can say I like hot foods but the sauces were not all that great and they arent even that hot. The Diablo sauce yes is a great sauce but it lacks both flavor and heat. I like red and green chilis and cheese, but who knows I’m not Mexican. I would have liked it to be a little cheaper for the food and quality. I spent 16 dollars on a burrito had no Pico de gallo when I said Pico de gallo she put a little bit in. These people NEED to learn how to speak.

Superb & Delicious soft taco, with flavorful beef spritzed with lime, & made with love. And Carlos is just the nicest guy!!

The options for “Mexican food” in Salem are abundant, but they will not beat out El Poblano. Reminiscent of Anna’s in Boston (if you know, you know) Tried the carnitas burrito, and my partner had the pollo tinga burrito, and both were absolutely amazing. They’re working on their dine in capacity (we dined in and there only 2 chairs) but everything was clean and decor/design was super nice. Definitely a huge upgrade from Spitfire. Highly recommend and I truly hope this place stays around for a long time !!!

Some of the best burritos I’ve had outside of Texas/West Coast. Excellent meats. Tinga is very nice. Lots of goof stuff to try on the menu. Very affordable as well.
