I came in around 2pm and I ordered a couple of taco plates with Carnitas and Chicharrón and let me tell you the meat was SUPER dry and looked to be reheated from an old batch. Very dissatisfied and disappointed especially at the price point the dishes were. When I brought it up to the waitress, I thought they would take it off of my bill but that was not the case even though we had one full plate of 3 tacos that we didn’t eat.

I went in for a breakfast burrito yesterday, got a veggie which wasn’t even on the menu. It was maybe the best I’ve ever had, delicious balance of flavors. I ate the rest for dinner. It came with a little salad that tasted like the vegetables came out of somebody’s garden, no square tomatoes here. The chips and salsa were great too, salsa nicely spicy with more fresh veggies. Pleasant outdoor seating and great service too. I’ll definitely go back.

Great portion sizes and prices. Has a nice patio for outside seating. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Plenty of menu options. The pozole soup was tasty with pleanty of toppings to add. The next day leftovers were even better. Tons of meat.
The tacos were street size. The fried pork was the most flavorful to me. The steak was good and the chicken was just ok to me. The chips and salsa were decent but nothing exciting

I’m always skeptical about going to a Mexican restaurant since I am Mexican myself and can cook. I was recommended by a friend to try it out, so I did…and boy oh boy it didn’t disappoint at all! I had a shrimp tostada and a plate of camarones al mojo de Ajo. Fresh delicious and they use huge shrimp! Great flavors, perfectly seasoned. My friends had a shrimp cocktail, full of large seafood pieces, so big she couldn’t finish it. My other friend had the Chile Verde, perfectly seasoned, so tender it melted in your mouth. Great service, great atmosphere especially if you’re craving that homemade cooked meal feel.

On the hunt for authentic menudo in the area, well worth the find. Menudo was very flavorful and came out piping hot. El Pirrin holds true to its name of authentic food. From the complimentary chips and flour tortillas. Definitely coming back for the chicken mole. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Made you feel like hine. They interacted with us and other customers. Made us feel like home.
