The wife and I got an Al Pastor Burrito and an order of Birria Tacos. They were good, but were missing the flavor needed to be great.
The service was fantastic. Kind, quick, and professional. Can’t say a single thing bad about them.
The atmosphere was also good, but not great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and good music. The bad are the piles of boxes on the floor and dishes/cutlery drying on the tables around the restaurant. Nothing to cry over, but it takes away from the vibe.
Being mexican myself, I am mortified that they call this food authentic.
You know I love my food. I love when I find true gems and this is NOT a gem.
The food is waaaay over priced!!! $6 for ONE dry as hell, bland tasting, stale hard and gummy corn tortillas..
I’m guessing they must give some sort of incentive to get these high reviews. I however will be as real as it gets! I’m tired of places like this that serve such nasty food. I would love to inspect their kitchen!
So if I could give it no stars I would. I see that the owners have no shame and often attack anyone who leaves a negative review instead of finding a better solution to make their customers happy, like better quality food!
I dunno, but please stop giving these places, restaurants, services or whatever more business. Things will never get better if we don’t demand it to be. Why are we paying so much for terrible food!
THINK TWICE BEFORE EATING HERE.!
If you’re looking for a true gem to find better tacos I suggest:
San Miguel Mexican Grill, Mt Pleasant (4 stars)
Speedy’s Taco Truck,(Ricos Tacos) 6907 Rivers Ave (5 Stars)
Follow me in the search of the perfect TACOS!!
The tacos de lengua (tongue) were decent. Not many carry this kind so was a bit surprised. Would recommend, however were I was let down were on the tacos al pastor. They lacked seasoning which made the test a bit bland. I due give them credit for having the pineapples which some other restaurants don’t add.
Do like that they included chips and salsa. However their green salsa was just bad…no real taste.
