We were greeted and welcomed on by a nice woman who explained some menu items for us. This was our first time dinning at this local Dominican food establishment. They are Spanish and English-speaking here. Service was great. Our food was delicious and so was there green house sauce. I will be returning. I recommend

I can’t say enough good things about this family-owned Dominican restaurant. Every time I’ve come here, the experience has been consistently excellent. The food is authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love. I’ve enjoyed every single bite from the items I’ve tried.

It’s a family friendly place, which is always a plus. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treats you like one of their own. Service is always prompt, and the restaurant itself is clean and well kept, which shows they really care about every detail.

If you’re looking for real Dominican food and a place that feels like home, this is it. Highly recommend!

Food not good. Salty, hard and too greasy. Waitress had salty attitude. Not friendly . Not worth the 100+ bill for the 3 dishes served!!

I’m not going to lie, the music in here was loud. But it was good! As soon as we sat down the server asked if we wanted it turned down and gave us a free sampling of their delicious salt pork. All of the food was reasonably priced and delicious. I have a ton of leftovers. We did ask them to turn the music down slightly while we were trying to talk, and they had no issue. Then they noticed I gave my friend a birthday cupcake and asked if they could give him a free shot. They turned music on and everyone clapped. It was so thoughtful and special. The service was the best part of the entire experience. I will be back!! I highly recommend the mini chicken empanadas as well as the salt pork.

My first time going; took my dominican girlfriend with my mom so that my mom could try dominican food for the first time; she loved it; my girlfriend said they were the best tostones she has ever had; the server helped my mom explaining the dishes and giving us time. When I’m back in Connecticut; we will all be back.. I wish I remembered our servers name because she was amazing 10/10; would recommend to anyone wanted dominican food in the area

Food is delicious!!! 100% Dominican food and everything cooked to perfection. My favorite place to eat when I’m craving a Spanish style meal. The service was great. You absolutely can’t go wrong! HIGHLY recommend it.

Love coming here when I’m in the Fort Trumbull area. Quaint ambience, personable service and food cooked with love. Every experience here has been great! The owner/chef has done a fantastic job adding value to the community with a local food option.

I was very excited to try this place because there’s not too many good restaurants in the area. So I took a walk there today. And I’m extremely disappointed. The food tastes sour, old, bland and dry. Like it’s been around and reheated more than once. Even the empanadas the ground beef well thats what it’s supposed to be is old dry crusty black looking and sour. I just hope I don’t sick. I’m a foodie and I cook myself. I definitely would not recommend. If I could I would give 0 stars.

It’s a lovely and quaint spot that you may pass by without seeing but very worth stopping in. Atmosphere is cozy and the food and service is great. We ended up with the burritos which are filling and flavorful
