First time experience was great. Their carne guisada is good too. I’m looking forward to coming again for breakfast and try their menudo. Restroom was very nice. Nice bar and overall, I HIGHLY recommend to give this place a try.

I ordered the Texas Plate, which is a portion of carne Guisada, rice, beans, 2 cheese enchiladas, and salad. The food came out in good time. The portions were good. The items all had a good flavor, and the tortillas were nice and hot and enjoyable. The carne Guisada was very good. The enchiladas were cheesy and tasty as well. Price of meal was pretty average. Only drawback this visit was service. I rarely saw my server. She WAS relatively busy so I understand to a certain point. It took awhile to get someone’s attention. I needed a tea refill and extra napkins. I was finally able to get them. Nothing exceptional about this place except it is relatively new, so there are kinks to be expected.

Drive through service was the worst ! I ordered chicken soup one small one large, waited 30 minutes in the drive through mind you we had not been charged yet i got off my car went inside and asked why the long wait? The lady said it takes awhile to serve and reheat the soup so obviously its not freshly made . Then later she came to charge us so we paid and still waited patiently for another few minutes to get our soups. We get home and soup is awful barely any broth one carrot one patatoe and one chicken both small soups i called to make the complaint and obviously they did not care for what i had to say! Very rood so i will never go back to that place ever again. So they don’t deserve a rating!

I had a wonderful time with my parents. The service was excellent. I especially enjoyed seeing how popular the place is among the Latino community. I highly recommend trying the carne guisada and the beef fajita tacos .

Charro beans were delicious. The mini taco plate was good (plenty of meat). The refried beans were also good. The salsa for chips is fresh with diced ingredients. Will be back to try the rice. Overall clean, great seating options. Not a long wait for food. Great neighborhood restaurant.

1st time here and the place was great at the time we got here. Very spacious. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was great and well presented. My shrimp cocktail was perfect. Being from the Valley I hadn’t really found a good shrimp cocktail here in a San Antonio restaurant. This 1 brought back memories of crossing the border and eating in Reynosa Tamaulipas so many years ago. Or having my dad make his favorite “coctel” Veggies were cut smal & perfect just like my dad did it. Chips and salsa were provided. Great experience

Slow service and servers give you attitude if you say anything. Saw my server talking at the bar for 10+ mins while my food sat the window and didn’t even apologize when i asked about it. Food is isn’t bad but service is horrible.
