As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an older gentleman—possibly the manager or owner—who was very friendly and welcoming. We went on a Sunday, and we’ve never been to a restaurant that provides such fast service on a weekend! We were seated right away, and our drinks came out quickly. After placing our order, it only took about 10–15 minutes for our meals to arrive. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The portions were generous, and we’ll definitely be stopping by again next time we’re in LA.

This spot truly stands out as one of my absolute favorites. The service is attentive, the food is impressive, and the atmosphere with great music creates such an enjoyable setting. The appetizers were exceptional and full of flavor, and the main course was just as satisfying. It is also a perfect place to catch the big game and enjoy the energy. I came to try out El Pescador restaurant in the city of Ontario. Being a first generation Mexican I can tell you that the food here is Incredibly delicious. Their margaritas are awesome very flavorful. It looks like they use good tequila. The first bad impression that I got when I got here there was nobody in the front to Greet me and sit me down I had to ask do I walk in or do I just wait here that’s the only negative part that I got from this restaurant but I can tell you that my waitress her name is Helen. She is awesome has great customer service skills Helen gave me a great idea to build my own plate at my liking. it’s not a plate on the menu but is something helen made it happen for me because I told her what I felt like eating like, I said Helen is awesome having people like her at this kind of restaurants, I can also tell that This restaurant is closely managed by the owner and his family makes it even better. It feels like they really care about their customers and the service they provide. I really recommend El Pescador Restaurant city of Ontario to everybody. Awesome food great customer service just ask for Helen!!

We spent at least $25/person for the less expensive orders (not including drinks) and more for the people who got molcajetes, but that was to be expected lol The place is cute and very clean but the waiters don’t really check on you that much, so if u need something, you gotta go find one

Excellent drink menu and prices. Happy Hour: MONDAY – THURSDAY 10AM TO 7PM & FRIDAY 10AM TO 5:00PM. Comfortable seating in restaurant. The Hive has bar stools and high tables, which may be uncomfortable to some but has limited bench and table seating.

Choose this location to celebrate our friends birthday, having the expectation and experience from the Bell Gardens location. Ohh we never been so wrong! Our server was overwhelmed and running out of patience with our elderly friends!!
We asked for a couple of minutes to get the food order ready, she was not happy about it! It Then drinks came in first, requested a glass to pour the beer, and well she came to check on food order, said she would be back with the glass BUT 15minutes later she NEVER brought the glass!! I had to request it from a different server!
Then I ordered a side of guacamole to eat while the food arrived!! Well that NEVER happened either!! We finished the food, and I had to cancel the guacamole before she decided to show up with it last minute and get changed for it when it was obvious we’re about to leave!
Service was poor and the food has definitely changed since the last time I was there! Never have I had a Molcajete and the salsa is mixed with chipotle! Recipe not the same nor my choice!

We came here for lunch and relaxed in the hive lounge and was really cool. Clean, friendly service, and quick. We have been wanting to come here for a long time and it was worth the wait. Got one of there margarita flights and was really delicious and worth the cost. The plates were generously portioned and the salsa could have been hotter but I like extreme heat, it still had a lot of great flavors and the notes of peppers came through and didn’t taste watered down with soggy tomatoes. I would recommend giving this place a try, we did go when it was slow around 2 and 3 in the afternoon though. The waiter was kind, he irritated my lady only because he kept trying to talk to me and she hates that was the only thing. He didn’t talk to us as a couple, he just kept talking to me amd I was clearly reading important papers. Not a big deal, I know in some cultures your supposed to speak to the male but, thats a stigma that needs to change regardless where you are from.
