I wasn’t able to leave zero stars but sadly a one. Firstly, everything was very unsanitary, NOBODY was wearing gloves and most of the workers had long acrylic nails. They were touching all of the food, really disgusting!!! There was dude with giant shades that was also very a shady mf ( could have been the worker/manager) and grabbed food without gloves from the food containers and walked out. DISGUSTING LIKE HIM. There was a 10 year old girl at the register that was very confusing and quiet, had to ask an adult for help. The food was very overpriced, I ordered shredded fruit and it was mushy and soiled like an egg. When I walked in, it smelled sour like funky. Overall very gross, overpriced, rude, and unsanitary.
downside they only offer sodas and beer to drink
However, the establishment is a bit odd in that half of it is a small little taqueria and the other half is a more busy, bar and lounge. There’s two doors. One that says, “21 and over l” and the other one that doesn’t.
When my 3.5 son and I walked into the taqueria, we weren’t greeted by anyone for a few minutes. We sat ourselves and looked over the menu. There are no prices on the menu, but I had an idea that it wouldn’t be expensive by it’s presentation. That’s not a mark against the place, but it just felt like it was going to be cheap and good. And that it was.
After a few minutes a nice young lady came and took our orders. Another lady, older, who was the cook I assume came out and gave us the food. It was delicious. My son ate his chicken taco up and I had a burrito that hit the spot.
When we were done, we did have to wait sometime before someone came out and checked on us. It was the older lady again. I explained to her that we were done and I’d like to pay. She came back with an iPad that gave me the choice to accept the total amount. For a big burrito, chicken taco and a caprisun, it totalled to $9.50.
Unfortunately I didn’t have any cash, and there was no option for a tip. So BRING CASH.
