Cute restaurant. The menu is very large and busy. I felt the shrimp tacos were missing something, they didn’t hit the spot but the others at the table really enjoyed their tacos and quesadilla. The serve was mediocre. I ran out of water 75% through my meal and he never refilled, he was friendly but didn’t ask how our food was and took awhile to get the bill. They were not busy enough to have bad service, there was 3 others parties at the time. Fargo has a lot of Mexican restaurants so I would try other places before coming back to this one but someone asked me to go with them, I would.

A great new restaurant in the Southpointe area! Food was quick and fresh. Very flavorful without being salty. Menu features a good variety of classics, plus some more unique seafood options.

Service was pleasant and servers were all kind and playful with our toddler.

As someone who grew up in a border town, where good Mexican food isn’t just a treat but a way of life, my husband and I are always hesitant when trying new places outside our hometown. My husband and I have lived in Fargo for a year now, and it’s been hard to find anything that even comes close to the food we were raised on. We’ve tried lots of restaurants trying to fill that homesick craving, but this place? It’s the closest we’ve felt to being back home. Owner is super friendly and attentive to everyone who enters his restaurant, he makes sure the workers are on top of their game. We will definitely be regulars from now on.

Since having moved from Minneapolis last summer, I have been sincerely missing the authentic taco trucks. I decided to give this place a try, on a carryout basis.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday near 4pm and while there were seven tables seated, the wait for my order (which I placed shortly after my arrival) was less than ten minutes.

I ordered the three street tacos with carnitas. The corn tortillas tasted incredibly fresh, like they were possibly made today. The carnitas unfortunately didn’t taste as fresh and tasted like it’s been sitting in rendered fat. There were a few pieces of red onion within the tacos, which was disappointing as I enjoy white onions which I’ve previously experienced elsewhere. The verde salsa was amazing and also tasted quite fresh, with just the perfect amount of spice. I was pleasantly surprised to find a large bag tortilla chips with my order. They were freshly made and still warm from the fryer. Despite the bag containing the chips being saturated with oil, they were light, crisp and lightly salted. The red salsa which accompanied the chips was also fresh, and of a very mild heat.

I will be back to give it another try, perhaps dining within the restaurant for the full experience and to have one of those giant margaritas I saw one of the patrons enjoying.

*picture is minus one taco, cuz I was very hungry

We went for lunch. Just start off I was a little put off with how dusty and dirty the ledges were between the kitchen and the booths. My wife had the number 10 and I had the number 16 off the lunch menu. On the number 10 the food was extremely dry and tasteless. I had the chimi- #16 There was hardly any filling in it and no spice at all. All I could taste was a flower tortilla. Completely bland . The queso with the chorizo is OK, nothing special. The only thing that was good was the piña colada drink she had.
We didn’t finish our food and didn’t bother taking it home.
Maybe an off day- but it was really off.

Food is gross. Guacamole is from a bag and poop green. Got the chimichanga which was doughy . Favor was bland. Also got street tacos that only flavor I could taste was jalapeno. Although it was covered in cilantro I could take anything but the jalapeno. Margaritas were watered down . After leaving I went home and cleaned my toilet in case I need to puke. I have been there before and it was way better with previous owners. Seems they are cutting costs on food any using the cheapest ingredient they can get their hands on with a cost like plaza azteca. Just go to plaza or somewhere else. Bad. Not Good at all, I recommend making a different choice. I could have went to taco hell and got better food. Wish I would have.
