Great Mexican food, service is always good and they have fabulous drink specials. The food at the bar is always the best and at special happy hour prices. The shrimp tostada is light and tasty not to heavy. Love their specials but shrimp tostada is the best.

El Patron is a great local spot with a welcoming atmosphere and a nice patio for enjoying a meal. The staff is very attentive and they make sure your coffee stays full while you relax. I really recommend the bacon breakfast burrito, and it’s a plus that they serve breakfast until 2:00 PM. And thier senior discount brings plates down to $8.

I was expecting a lot more from the looks of the building from the street. It appears this used to be an old taco bell or other fast food joint back in the day. I ordered the fajitas and my girlfriend ordered the fish tacos. We both agree the ambiance was subpar, the chips and salsa were pathetic, the food was average (but OVERPRICED), and the margaritas were the only redeeming quality. Likely, we will drive further for a better experience.
*edit* the table we sat out was also falling apart and the table next to us left before their food arrived because something was “disgusting”. We didn’t catch what it was, but we weren’t surprised to see this

We got the Indian tacos we were so excited to try them. Got home and this is how the meat looked, we called and the manager said they have new meat and it just looks like that. I cook daily and I have never served someone meat that looks like this. So sad we will never be returning.

I was there on a Monday night. Maybe it was an off night, but we had a very poorly cooked meal. The sopas were still raw inside. The kitchen remade them, but they were very heavy with a near biscuit-like texture. Red chile wasn’t good, or fresh tasting. The rellenos were undercooked. The cheese enchilada was like a piece of longhorn wrapped in a tortilla. The restaurant at least comped that plate, to their credit. Overall hugely disappointing. No one at my table of five will be returning after that experience.

We love El Patron North! The atmosphere is always welcoming, whether we’re relaxing on the beautiful outdoor patio or dining inside, the interior is always spotless and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food never disappoints. The enchilada casserole with rice and papitas is absolutely delicious, flavorful, comforting, and perfectly cooked every time. Their salsa and chips are fresh, and the margaritas are great, too! It’s one of our favorite spots for a casual meal or a fun night out. Highly recommend!

El Patron – North completely surprised me in the best way. The breakfast burrito was outstanding, with fluffy eggs, perfect green chile, and tons of flavor packed into every bite. Definitely a new favorite. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful, and they gave me great ideas for what to try on my next visit. The service was quick and the whole experience just felt easy, welcoming, and delicious. I’m can’t wait to go back and try more!
