Food was delicious, their tripa & lengua tacos are my favorite. Their tortas are but I’ll keep coming back because they have the BEST horchata i ever had. Overall the family & I enjoyed their delicious food. They make u feel like family when you’re there.

Me and my friends went out to celebrate, we had an appetizer some entrees but the issue started when after we ordered another round of drinks. the waitress came over and told my friend after she took our orders, she didn’t feel comfortable giving us a third drink. I believe this happened because the table behind us was making some kind of YouTube video and they were filming her running the food. I know for a fact we weren’t loud and I know we weren’t rowdy. We will not be back, when I go out I expect to have more than two drinks. You guys don’t have a heavy pour an there barely was any alcohol in those drinks in the first place.

The food at El Patron was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly passionate about his food. The dishes were authentic, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. This establishment isn’t just about great food—it’s about genuine kindness and hospitality. Hands down the best service I’ve ever experienced!

Sorry that I don’t have any photos to share. But I want to say that the Peruvian/pan-Latin American food is outstanding — by far the best I’ve had in the northeast. I ate flautas and the sauces that they offered made them taste even better (warning if you order a large beer it will be HUGE, which was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise……………). El Patron has atmosphere. It’s not a cookie cutter restaurant layout. There are different tables and a nice offset bar are and separate eating area and plenty of light coming through the large windows during the day. But what stood out, by far, the MOST, was the service. Maybe we were just lucky because we got a woman named Margarita (I think), but she was so kind and explained everything very carefully about the restaurant, the food, traditions from her native Peru, just super, super professional and kind — ask for her if you go because her service and good conversation complement the delicious food. Of course, the other servers, I’m sure, are also excellent. We’ve only been there once (though are planning to return today, if time permits), and I’m sure everyone there is equally enthusiastic, friendly and professional.

I compare all other tacos to El Patron’s! My go-to is their shredded chicken taco on a hard shell with all the toppings. I also recommend trying a Paloma here too. The service is friendly and fast!! Love this place!!

We went here for lunch and sat at the bar. We tried the house margaritas and they were really refreshing. The shrimp taco plate was delicious, the pickled cabbage salad on top was perfect for it. My husband had the chicken enchiladas and loved it, he devoured the whole plate. Our server/bartender was so nice. Service overall was amazing. We had a lovely time here and are looking forward to coming back.

Great food, very warm friendly service, excellent drinks!!!! It hit the spot.
They were interested in closing promptly, but that’s on our party not them.
They clearly have posted closing time and were interested in heading home. Customers should in general be more aware and respectful of that from service industries. Just if you’re going to be a stinker customer making a fuss about they hurried me up, please don’t. Be respectful of worker’s time please.

Great atmosphere. Customer service was wonderful. Very tasty. My only issue was the temperature of the food. Our dishes were not hot. I prefer my food to by hot and not barely warm.
I had the Drenched burrito and the Spanish street corn. (Neither were temperature hot nor spicy hot)
I would return.

Food: the nachos were okay, I felt like the guacamole was sitting for a couple hours before topping it. The fried bean tasted like it was slightly burnt, and then they got mixed up with new batch. Overall, it was just not fresh. The rice platter was all right. I felt like the chicken and steak were on the thinner side and it just had too much seasoning to the point where the steak was on the saltier side yet still tender, the chicken was also over seasoned. Their chips and salsa was just too watery for me and I could barely have a sauce Stay on the chip.
Service: Andrew was great for serving us that day, he made we got taken care. The owner eddy was attentive as well in making sure we had a seat despite being busy.
Ambiance: we went on Cinco de Mayo, so there was a lot of people during that day, which made the volume so loud that you couldn’t necessarily hear yourself. It’s definitely a crowd for families or colleges to enjoy something inexpensive and support family owned. Honestly, it was a bit too loud for me, and where we were sitting a lot of traffic was happening so it hard to enjoy a meal and chat.
Accommodation: they have outdoor patio, which is really nice, but it was raining so couldn’t really get the chance to enjoy. It’s near the Green Street area. There’s plenty of space to enjoy other parts of the area.
