The food was decent and filling, but nothing really stood out flavor-wise. Drinks were okay, though they took a while to arrive. The atmosphere was lively, maybe a bit loud depending on where you sit. Service felt hit or miss, friendly one moment and slow the next. Not a bad spot, just average for the price.

The food and staff were amazing! I got the birra tacos which were SO GOOD! The best I have found so far! I will say their chips were good, but their salsa needs some work. But that’s ok because the entree totally made up for it! And the staff were SO NICE and quick with their service! The owner even came over to our table asking how are food was and told us he uses all fresh ingredients at all times He even offered to get us a margarita ! I have noticed people are complaining about the interior but they literally JUST opened. I am sure as they grow they will start to work on the decor. Personally anyone willing to judge a book by its cover doesn’t need to be there in the first place. ♀️ We will be back!

First of all, there is no website for this restaurant. No excuse for this in this day and age. At the very least, just put the menu online it costs little to nothing to have a site. I uploaded pics of the menu which is extensive. However, most everything is fairly bland and basic. The Birria tacos were particularly disappointing without any dipping sauce or moisture. I ordered a burrito and got a boring steak meal instead with bland rice and runny beans so that was disappointing. There was no healthy pico or fresh vegetables. Cooked with the meat were large green onions with huge bulbous stems as well as peppers and cactus. We did not have the salsa but I read it was gross. A freshly chopped pico with cilantro, lime and onions would be amazing. The ambiance was strange with lights out, place looking empty, not at all welcoming. Take some care and have some pride in your restaurant (fix a light!) and marketing (make a website!) or this place will not last long…

I got the steak fajitas and the steak they used was super tough/dry and not the cut of steak I usually get when I get fajitas. It was also very bland. My son got the steak quesadilla and he liked it, but said it was decent. My wife got the pork (Al pastor) and she said it was ok, not great, but good. All 3 of us have had much better Mexican food and agreed that we won’t be going back. The waiter was a very young boy and although he was very nice, he wasn’t very attentive. The atmosphere is very lacking, but that didn’t bother me really. The food is what it’s all about and they are decent at best on that.

The tacos were bland. When given the bill they added an additional amount because it was not cash. I didn’t appreciate the extra expense without notice beforehand. Sorry but we will not be back. They played very loud mexican ( not that I don’t like Mexican music) music but the place was almost empty and the loudness was unnecessary.

salsa was like tomato paste, service was a little slow considering how empty the restaurant was, tacos weren’t made the way listed on the menu, but the al pastor wasn’t bad, just fatty, pescado tasted like a frozen fish stick, chicken was a little bland

The margaritas are only from a dispenser that was flickering power the entire time. They would not make one from scratch, and there was no tequila in them at all. My shrimp was excellent, but the beans and rice on my plate were cold and tasteless. I only ate the shrimp because of this, and the waitress said to me “next time just get the shrimp if you’re not going to eat the sides”. The chips and salsa were fine. Won’t be back.

My husband & I went there for dinner. The food is very good. I had the Quesabirrias (pictured) and the consommé was so delicious. My husband had a chicken dish and said that the Spanish rice and refried beans were the best he’s had ( previously was El Toro on Union Street). The white sangria was a delight and loaded with fruit. The prices were very good and worth the food served. The service needs to be better, gringos need things.
