I moved to Colorado from Texas in January. I was absolutely blown away by this Mexican cuisine, NEVER has a place this far from Mexico produced the nectar of the gods chiliquiles. We had the most authentic Mexican breakfast EVER. I can usually finish a breakfast plate and for two people we got TWO MEALS for 46$ the tamales were smothered incredibly. Waitress was extremely nice. The atmosphere, the Futbol on tv, the seating, everything was south of the border authentic. Hands down, best Mexican food in Colorado, period. Fight me.

My family and I went out to this restaurant for my sisters birthday and were treated so well. The drinks are cool and unique. The service was amazing like the kind of service you don’t normally experience. Thank you to our waitress, the bar tender and everyone at el patron. Go there and eat and drink!!!

Worse caldos I’ve had. I ordered a caldo de pollo and a caldo de rez and they were so grose and uneatable. The meat was raw and hard and the vegetables weren’t even cut up they put the whole entire thing in there. Never again will I buy there. Someone could get sick of that nasty raw meat.

I have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Their margarita’s are out of this world. On top of that their menu is extensive, from tentacles to hooves. El Patron is family owned and operated. The services is awesome as well. Also the prices are very reasonable and big portions. You gotta check this place out if authentic Mexican food. Provecho!

Awesome hole-in-the-wall Mexican. The Birria Tacos are bomb. Chips and salsa are on point. The servers and sweet and the food comes up quick! I’ve seen the reviews about them automatically adding tip but that’s never been my experience. Love this place!

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area until now. I’ve been coming to this place for almost 3 years and I have never been so appalled with their service of how they treat their customer during the last visit. My girlfriend and I ordered a menudo soup, with tripe taco plate and we ask for refill on chips and salsa. When the tab came out, we was charge for chips refill (4 dollars) and then a 20 percent gratuity. For 2 people!! I cannot believe you ran up our bill and then charge us gratuity. Bad practice and customer service.

This was the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to even the most expensive restaurant in Denver Give you the option to tip whether you would like to tip or not. I confronted the waitress. She told me because it was after 10 and they close at 10pm but was there at 9:11pm. so that’s why the tip was already included. Then I ask for the manager she advised me anything that’s over $60 tip is automatically included and you would think they would just choose the lowest tip. My tip was more than the meal…. ‍♂️Neva Again or maybe because of my skin complexion, did anyone experience this?.

Craving authentic Mexican food this is your place. Chicharrones de puerco as an appetizer. Street tacos and Milanesa were good! Only downfall no home made flour tortillas.

This is a top tier birria joint. They had a deal on birria tacos and I’ve been surviving almost exclusively on takeout birria tacos. They’re amazing when fresh and reheat incredibly well in a toaster oven

Super yummy !!! We ordered the tacos de birria. They did not disappoint! Super tender meat and just the right amount of cheese. The order came with 4 tacos , limes onions and cilantro and a small side of consommé. I was hoping for a little more consommé just because I love it so much. But it’s definitely enough to dip your tacos in and it’s very delicious. I would definitely order again.
